    Dishonest -Steer Clear

    Dealership uses a bait and switch game. List auto with certain specifications and or price . Actual vehicle being sold has higher mileage, higher price, less opt, or all three. Advertise one option package, vehicle being sold has lower option package. Dealership has multiple prices for same car. Higher price if you choose an advertised “incentive. The larger the incentive the higher the price. I will never step in this dealership again!

    Lied to

    Was told they had four trucks at $29,911, went there and then was told to the they were all sold. Tried to sell more expensive truck to me. I said I was told, just a couple days earlier that there were four 2020 Silverado WT, double cab and 4x4 for $29,911. Sales manager said they were all sold, but he had a custom for a little more. Tired of dealerships lying and doing the bait and switch. Walked out and started the 35 minute drive back home. Texted the person that had set up my appointment and told them what had happened. They said they would look into it, never heard back from them. Thought this dealership was different from the others, guess I was wrong, they like to mislead you also, just to make a buck.

    I am not one to provide any reviews, but felt compelled to do so after my recent visit and purchase of a 2020 Trail Boss. I checked vehicles on-line and discussed the details with BRIANA (she was very helpful and accurate with her advise) I met with Xavier and closed the deal with Xavier and Ken. If you are looking for an honest young guy to work with, ask for Xavier as he is top of the line in knowledge and attention to detail. Ken knows his job as a sales manager and does it well with respect. Nice dealership to work with!

    Sold the vehicle out from under us....Doesn't surprise me though. I heard that all the xxxx sales people from the previous Blaise went to work for Buchanan....Had the same experience before.

    Buchanan is the WORST car dealership period. Since leasing a car off them 2.5 years ago, I have been bombarded with phone calls from them trying to get me to trade early 25 times. I asked them to take me off their list several times, yet they continue to call. I then started telling them I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR OFF YOUR COMPANY AGAIN... Still getting call. I call and talked to their sales manager and told him. He was very sorry this had happened, and said he would have me taken off their list. He even offered me a free car detailing, which I refused. I want nothing to do with them ever again. That was 30 days ago, and yet I have had 3 more calls from them since. I am now very blunt with them. I asked this morning to talk to the owner, operator said he doesn't talk to people, his manager do. I asked for the sales manager and he wasn't available. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF DEALERSHIP. They lied to me when I bought a new caravan off them. I told them I wanted automatic headlights. The head guy said no problem. If we can order it this way, or modify it, or take it to an electronic place in Hagerstown, we will take care of it. So I bought the car. Next I get a call from the guy saying quote " We can't order it, we can do it, and if you get it done in hagerstown, your warranty will be void". Run from these people or you to will be harassed by them. I have bought or leased cars off several other dealers, and none of them are this aggressive. I am now calling thje BBB and lodging a complaint against them, and will brocast this on social media everywhere I can find a place to type it. JERKS

    I’ve been debating for quite some time now if I was going to write this review, I’m losing patience with Buchanan. This is my 100% honest review of this company. Let me start off by saying Tyler G is sales was great, extreme professional, very easy going salesman. Trip to the dealer to see the vehicle was 2 hours away. I made a call the night prior to set everything up, talk to the sales manager he said he would make sure the vehicle does not go anywhere. Great! The next day I even called to let him know i was 100% still coming. I get there and someone else is test driving the vehicle. I should of walked away when I had the chance... but I stuck around till the customer got back with the vehicle, I drove two hours to look at this truck so I was leaving with something. Next few days with the vehicle and I start having issues with the truck, the vehicle cut off 3 times randomly while driving. This is where it starts to get ugly, called the dealership to let them know and got nothing but a hard time like I was inconveniencing them finally after a few days I get them to send a rollback (they wanted to charge me for picking the vehicle up) the vehicle sat at Buchanan for 3 weeks before they got it fixed. I understand things happen but 3 weeks? Anyways I was just happy to have the truck back at this point. Immediately after them delivering the truck the truck is misfiring! Upon inspection I find the spark plug wire disconnected... Buchanan agreed to make my first payment (fully grateful for this) but weeks go by and I haven’t received a check so I just call to check up on it so I make a call to Connor, he agrees he will get the check cut and I’ll have it in a few days. Time goes by and I still didn’t have anything so I make a call to mike in the sales dept to follow up he starts getting attitude with me on the phone like I’m bothering him, he starts going off he’s going to put stop payment on the check, blah blah mouthing off the entire time. If your a man and you say your going to do something do it, actions speak louder than words. I did infact get the check finally. Now to the main issue, my license plates... this should have been a very easy process but infact Buchanan screwed this one up so now I’m left with expired tags and many excuses why Buchanan does not have my hard tags. My paper tag was falling off and when I told mike I needed my tags he goes ‘write your tag on a piece of cardboard... are you kidding mike? Infact the vehicle had a clean report it has indeed been in a front end collision that Buchanan did not disclose! Would I return to Buchanan? No. Mike is going to run that place into the ground. Once you sign your name they could careless about you, save the headache and deal else where! Atleast my truck looks good sitting in front of my house but it doesn’t do me any good without tags! This dealership is very unorganized and very unprofessional. Update: it’s been a week with expired tags and yet not even a idea where the tags are, guess we are going to have to go legal route with this dealership. Update again: 10/25/18 still no tags, still no apology from mike the sales manager. This man does not belong dealing with customers, extreme unprofessional. Update 11/1/18 - finally have tags and legally can drive my vehicle , still no phone call of apology from the dealership, absolute unprofessional. Update 11/25/18 - still no contact from dealership, absolute unprofessional Chevrolet dealership stay away avoid the headache while your ahead. Mike is a liar
