by SAMUEL MORALES from Seffner | October 06, 2020

I was a long time costumer spent over $60,000 in cars from Brandon Honda plus service our Honda there and other vehicles there but just the other day went to look for a vehicle for my son since the car we bought from them 3 months ago blew and was treated like crap from the sales team all the way to the sales manager. I do not recommend anyone to go here.worst sales managers ever.

    Honda Owners Be Advised....
by Gia R from Brandon, FL | July 02, 2020

Having recently leased a new Civic and being asked to give an all positive review for their follow-up survey, even if their was an issue, I was very unhappy with a subsequent experience. Turns out there is a feature controlled by the keyfob to unroll ALL of your windows... Remotely. I was not given this info and while visiting my elderly parents, so if my windows unrolled during a thunderstorm. My car was soaked. Keys had been in my pocket, in the house. Called dealership (app doesn't work properly) and my salesman said to come straight in. He would arrange for a loaner while they figured things out. My daughter and I sat in wet clothes waiting on the tech who said he'd check into the loaner. I asked for manager after 30minutes. They start to get us a loaner when the tech said my car is done. It was the keyfob. I ask if they dried it out and he said, "I don't know." Long story short, 4 days later, after a lot of conversation and a trip back to the dealership, they agreed Honda should have designed a way to disable this feature. If you're keyfob is sensitive, you just have to live with the issue. My new car smell is now very wet, old, upholstery. They agreed they messed up. Commination with and from the dealership was totally lacking. So.... When I didn't agree to give a good review of my experience, Simone from the dealership called and offered me... Ta da.... A free oil change. If you aren't aware of the open all windows remotely feature, call your dealership and let them explain. Don't get caught in the rain and many Honda Owners have!

LIARS - UNTRUSTWORTHY - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH
by ScrewedOver from Birmingham, AL | June 30, 2020

Talked to “Alex” all day about a car I was buying for my daughter. I made sure he knew we were driving 10 hours to come get it. I verified with him 3 times that he was holding the car, holding the key, and put a sold sign on the car. He said yes every time. “I’ll call you in just a few to write up the paperwork, I’ve got it reserved and ready for you” I’m getting on the road, okay. “No worries, see you in the morning!” My daughter is ecstatic! 2 hours into our drive I get a cal from somebody other than Alex because he’s too pathetic to call and tell me - this piece of crap dealership sold the car to someone else that offered them more money even though we had already started the purchase. They are Liars and will screw you over for a dollar. Stay far away. Brandon Honda in Tampa is a dealership that is full of untrustworthy liars.

    Mike-Horrible Dealer- High Pressue Tactics
by MikeA from Wesley Chapel. FL | May 16, 2020

Horrible Experience! Vehicle was advertised on cars.Com for 17,974. Got to dealer for test drive and purchase. They raised the price to 23k by adding all kind of fees like dealer prep fee for $995, etc. Then used high pressure sales tactics with manager. The manager got offended when I offered 19k out the door price and he stormed out of the room. Poor way of doing business with a new client. He could have been friendly and said "I'm sorry but can't sell it at that price, Maybe I can show you something else" I won't go back there for a vehicle. I don't like those type tactics and I'm to old to be intimated. Or fall for that. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

    THINK TWICE
by Car from Tampa | December 31, 2019

BECAREFUL. 1) appointment set, paperwork submitted online and our experience lasted 3 hours (9 to 12) 2) spoke with 4 sale reps working with a OTD (out the door) firn figures (all included) and they pushed us out with $4202 more. More factors to list but conclude with another family in another office repeatedly telling two sales reps their objectives and getting no where. Highly suggest them as a last resort or not at all

    unfortunate change of heart
by Tina Welch from St.Petersburg, Fl | November 29, 2019

While we have done new car business for our last 2 cars there, we switched markets to used cars this time and all cash. The tone changed. We have always loved Brandon Honda and our experience. We have always gotten a great deal, but that all changed. They had no interest in keeping us as customers or waiving even the slightest fees. It was a totally different experience and unfortunate. I don’t think we will be making the drive from St.Pete to do business there anymore.

    Not the price advertised
by Friendly from Brandon Fl | November 16, 2019

So, the price is listed at $29,300. The manager started the process off at over $30,000. When I questioned it, he spoke to me with a condescending attitude saying that he needed to explain it to me. It also lists as having heated seats...it does not. I told them I wanted heated seats and the price jumped to over $35,000... they must do math differently in Brandon.

The Reason People Hate Car Dealerships
by SBN from Tampa, Florida | October 31, 2019

Easily the worst car buying experience I have ever had. All the cars are marked up $2,000 right off the bat with 'extras' nobody needs, so even before you negotiate the sticker is already trying to rip you off. I was in a time crunch and still bought a car, which has been a massive regret as it was a lemon. The dealership acknowledged that it was unfixable and treated me horribly; the senior staff was very arrogant and talked down to me about it. Their 'free' oil changes aren't really free because each one takes 2 hours out of your life. It takes me 20 minutes in my garage, yet with all of their equipment it takes them 2 hours? I will never go back there and tell everyone I know to stay far away.
