    Big New Truck

    I was in the marker for a new truck and wanted a Toyota for the reliability and looks. I went to Rahal and got hooked up with Jason. The young buck knew his stuff! After getting close to my price, I agreed to purchase my new 1794 Tundra. The next step was to pick it up after all the accessories were put on. So in a few days my wife and I met with Jake in financial. Another youngster full of knowledge! After him we went over the truck with a fine tooth comb. At no point we’re we pressured or had our arms twisted to buy something we didn’t want. We did have one problem. No backup camera. We found out about this after we got home. A call to the service department and a day later my truck was back. The fix was easy and wasn’t anyone’s fault. The camera was disconnected before an accessory was put on and it was not reconnected. Eric in service was a big help. Now I got my new ride and life’s great! I would and will recommend Jason, Jake and Eric to anyone wanting to buy a Toyota.

    If your out of state, avoid them

    If you are out of state, Id stay clear. Since I am in Maryland they acted as if I was going to try to scam them in some way. Made the whole buying process a hassle. The salesman I was working with was a total xxxxxx. My wife was going to be on the car with me, so he texted me saying “ send me a copy of your wife’s license front and back, and make sure you bring her, theres things she needs to sign”.. well no crap. Maybe say “ Hey its so and so, I hope your day is going well. I’d just like to let you know if you plan on having the wife on the loan, she will need to be here as well, if you have any questions please give me a call!” Maybe be a bit more professional. I bailed on this dealer and bought a vehicle at Browns Honda in Glen Burnie Md

    Treated me like trash!!!

    I had a terribly insulting experienced. I'd done extensive research on Passat vehicles in the region and narrowed my search to two vehicles on this lot. I came in to test drive with the full intention of leaving in whichever felt the best. After trying the vehicle with lower mileage it seemed to have most of the necessities but not many of the nice-to-haves. The higher trim Passat had all of the extras I desired but ran noticeably more roughly than the other. I asked to do an extended test drive and was treated as if I was going to steal the vehicle. I found myself trying to sell my own credibility to the sales manager as a customer. He didn't understand why I wanted to take an extended test drive. He said that If I found any repairs that needed to be done, they wouldn't do them. He also said that I needed to sign an agreement to purchase the vehicle at the published price if he allowed me to take it overnight. This is ridiculous. Not what I expected at all from Bobby Rahal! I came back to the lot [against my better judgment and common sense] a week later. I decided to overlook the slight and just deal with the pompous and disrespectful sales manager. After second look, I saw that the vehicle had worn tires, missing floor mats, and a few other simple fixes. I asked to wrap these into the car's listed price and was told that the car was aggressively priced and that all of the requests would need to be taken care of on my own. It became clear, that this wasn't about the vehicle, this wasn't about the deal or my requests. It became clear that I wasn't being taken seriously as a consumer and that this dealer didn't want my business. I received a follow-up email after the second bad experience and I expressed my concerns with my treatment. I didn't receive any response.

    Awful customer service. LAZY sales people.

    I drove over an hour to get there 2 different days to buy a Toyota. The first time they “forgot” to take it out of the shop when they knew I was coming and a day later I come in at 6pm they close at 8pm and they tell me they can’t do financing at night? Why are you even open if you don’t want to sell cars?

    Sean Gilbert, sales, has thorough product knowledge and it was a pleasure to work with Sean through the buying process. He answered all of our questions, but gave just enough input so that we could make the decision without feeling any pressure. All of the team at Rahal are efficient and very customer service oriented!! Rahal offers great pricing without a hassle! We were also impressed with the depth of inventory and outstanding facility.

    I purchased a 2016 BMW X6 50i. I was an out-of-state buyer and Amir made the process smooth and easy. They accidentally charged a fee twice and mailed the refund without me having to ask. Title and registration was very prompt.

    Not What I expected PART II

    Yesterdays experience was awful (as you can see from my previous post)! Because the offer on the Lease was so good and I've loved my last 2 Toyotas, I decided that today was a new day and I would give Rahal Toyota a chance to rectify the previous days horrible experience! Understand that I was prepared to walk away from Toyota for good, but thankfully, I drove away in my new 2018 Corolla. Today was like a whole new dealership! I walked in and was instantly greeted by Ahmir. Jeff was ready for our appointment. Eric had my paperwork in hand and explained everything thoroughly, answering every question along the way. The Finance Manager, Deana, was a phenomenal support in the entire process and Garth, the technology specialist made sure I understood all the gadgets in my new Corolla. Even making sure my phone was connected before I left. I would certainly recommend visiting Rahal Toyota during the DAY and not the evening. I would also ask for Ahmir! He was very friendly and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to work with him but he was the friendliest sales persons on the floor. If you are looking to talk to someone on the phone, ask for Jeff! To today's Rahal Toyota Sales Staff, GREAT JOB!
