    Very pleasant experience
by LMichels from Scottsdale AZ | July 15, 2020

We went to Bell Road Toyota to buy a used car. We made an appointment and were greeted right away. We test drove the car and the salesman North, asked if we wanted to take time to look over the car. After we were done we asked North to put us in touch with the final sales department. Chris in finance was very pleasant and gave us a deal that we were very happy with. I would purchase from this dealership again. I was very pleased with the customer service.

    Upsell on maintenance
by Dai from Phoenix, AZ | July 07, 2020

Im a disabled veteran, living on a fixed income. I took my car in for its regular maintenance and because the AC went out at the beginning of the summer. I worked with Antony, but the on the website, I requested my regular Rep Kristen. No one told me before I got there she was off. I brought my car in 30 minutes before my appointment. After 2.5 hours, Antony came out and explained they recharged it and added dye to FIND THE LEAK. I paid, went to pull off and the car starts smoking. Antony brings the tech out and they find where the leak actually is, After charging me for the diagnostic and the dye to find the leak. They take my car back, Then he comes back saying we can replace the part for this price (100 more than the services I was just charged for) I say no cant do it. He leaves, comes back and says well this is the price for just parts (200 less than the services I just paid for!) I said I'm sorry, I cant do it "well just trying to help you out since this is the worst state for your ac to be blowing hot air" So the 3 hours they had my vehicle, this wasn't located. It took another 45 minutes for them to tell me this is how much it would ACTUALLY cost to fix what I came in for. After I paid for the services and was getting ready to leave. Antony then asks me where I was taking the car before. I very clearly stated, I've only brought it here since purchasing the car last summer. He proceeds because if we knew who serviced the AC before (bell road Toyota) they would be able to direct me to that business/technician to get it fixed. I'm never coming back.

    Bait and switch
by Dave McIntyre from Tempe | April 18, 2020

While looking online for a Tundra Crewmax, I found such a vehicle on Car Gurus on 4/16/20. It was a 2020 Tundra Crewmax listed for $42,796. The next day I met the salesman and did a test drive. I was interested and asked for the starting price. The salesman came back to tell me the vehicle was listing for over $56,000. I showed him the print off I made the night before, I showed the salesman the print out pointing out his offer was more than $10,000 over the price listed on Car Guru. He brought out his manager, who didn't introduce himself, and said it was a mistake, he minimized it and said it was a typo, he said it wasn't a bait and switch, although sure felt like it. Especially when he said they have another Tundra on the lot that was less expensive. I tried that out, told them I wouldn't go over a certain amount. After waiting on them for a while the price they came back with was way over what I said my max was. I found the process disrespectful, suspicious and untrustworthy. Take a look at the definition of bait and switch, it sounds a lot like what happened to me. They ,made no attempt to make it right, they just wanted me off the lot.

    Vehicles Availability not updated
by Toyota from AZ | March 13, 2020

The day I was going to head to the dealer from out of town I called and spoke with an internet sales rep. He advised me that the truck I was interested in was available still and he would have it for me to test drive. When I arrive he apparently had “gone home sick” and the truck has sold the night before. From this experience I will make sure to speak with management first before making another trip. The sales rep didn’t even bother to call me and inform me of his mistake. Would have appreciated that even if I was already an hour into my drive. Other sales reps in the location were helpful and apologized for his mistake. Overall still a bad taste in my mouth from the experience.

    Worst Experience Ever
by AK from Mesa, AZ | February 17, 2020

Don't waste your time - they certainly don't respect yours. Supposedly sold/transferred the car to another dealership even though we had penciled out a deal and had an appointment to sign. Drove 40 minutes for nothing. Worst experience. Even the guy I was communicating with had another person email me 15 minutes before I arrived to tell me they transferred it. Just a complete disappointment. Took my business to another dealership and couldn't be happier. These jerks don't deserve my money, and they don't deserve yours.

    Steer Clear
by Jose from Pompano, FL | December 05, 2019

only gets one star because it is not possible to get any less. Used car department displays a low price on the cars only to try to charge a 4k bogus dealer fee that they can't even explain. This is exactly why dealers have a bad reputation. If this is how they handle their business of just quoting I can only imagine what the ownership experience is like after purchase. Steer clear...............

    Super Service by Scott Huggett
by Vic from Phoenix | June 20, 2019

I was having a bad problem with one of my rims on my Toyota Corolla. I had purchased the extra Toyota Insurance protection for the rims. That insurance company, in typical insurance company fashion, was refusing to cover the damaged rim. Fortunately, Scott Hugget, the Service Director at the dealership, in a very professional and caring fashion, analized the problem and was able to locate a rim that we could switch for my vehicle. He went above and beyond with his service. He even installed and balanced my new rims to make up for the bad service provided! Scott Huggett is truly a customer service hero.
