  Careless, reckless, unprofessional.

  I spoke with Eddie in sales 3 times the week of my visit to purchase a RAM cargo van, the last time 2 hours before I left from my home 70 miles away. When I arrived, he left to retrieve the van. One hour later he appeared with another customer's vehicle. When I asked him about my van, he apologized, left for the sales room -- which is actually a cramped space in an industrial park -- and returned 20 minutes later announcing they did not have my vehicle, which had been listed on their website for weeks. He showed me another vehicle, which would not start and which he could not start with a portable battery. There are too many good dealerships in the MD-VA area to justify such a waste of time.

  Terrible Experience

  How this dealership has so many great reviews is beyond me. I had an AWFUL experience here! I test drove a car one evening, liked it and went back the next day, and took it to have my mechanic look at it. There were a few items he said should be addressed but otherwise it was a sound car. I went back in to discuss and was ready to make a purchase if the items in question could be addressed. I was using the True car program which guarantees the price...well not at this dealership. The Truecar price guarantee I was given online was a bait and switch. The bottom line figure I received was more than $4,000 above the price it was supposed to be, they were hesitant to negotiate on any of the items that needed to be addressed, and completely low balled my trade (not even kbb value). When I mentioned the Truecar price they said a reconditioning fee was one of their required fees, yet it wasn't disclosed on the Truecar guarantee. A dealer should not participate in a program like Truecar if they are not willing to play by the program's rules. They started to lecture me about buying a used car and that was enough - I left. Conveniently, they somehow kept the title to my current car, and NEVER called to tell me, which meant I had to go back the next day, after realizing they still had it, to pick it up before going to other dealerships...interestingly, the exact car I was looking to purchase was parked out front when I arrived. I'd avoid this dealer like the plague...they are dishonest, don't honor programs they've committed to like TrueCar, not willing to negotiate on items the car needs per the mechanic, and just down right unethical in keeping customer documents and not even calling to tell them, which tells me it was a deliberate act vs. an accident. Once I had my title I went to a REAL and HONEST dealership and found an identical model car, with less miles, in better shape, and for less than the price they quoted me. My mechanic found a few very minor things which they IMMEDIATELY agreed to take care of and they offered me $1,500 more for my trade than the scammers at ABS. STEER CLEAR of this place especially if you are a woman car shopping alone!!
