150 Days No Tag or Title
by Talbot Cox from Oklahoma City | January 11, 2021

NO TAG OR TITLE AFTER 150 DAYS!! I don't know where to start on the unprofessionalism of this dealership and these three men Corey Silver, Josh Hoffart, Brandon Brock I guess we should go back to August 17th when I boarded a plane and flew to San Antonio to purchase a vehicle. I walked into the dealership with my eyes set on a Jaguar F-Pace. Of course, they told me on the phone before I got on the plane they still had it for sale for $28,000 but when I got to the dealership they told me they had sold that one. They then showed me multiple others that were around 33k-42k. I then told them I was going to go purchase another Jaguar down the street at Rick Cavender Toyota for 28k Listed online. (Cavender Toyota their sister dealership.) The manager walked away and came back and told me he had just called that dealership and they sold theirs as well. I then walked outside and called the dealership to see if they actually did sell it and they put me on hold then asked me my name which I thought was strange I told them then they said they had sold it that morning. I hung up and had my friend call them from a local texas number and they told him it was still for sale he could come test drive it now. This is all besides the point and a typical sales tactic but I am opening with this to show you the start of the lies and deception from the management of this dealership. I decided to stay at this dealership after the manager chased me out the door because I had ordered an uber and walked out. After 1 hour of negotiations, I ended up buying a 2019 Jaguar F-pace fully loaded. for $42k August 17 (Purchase Date) Let's fast forward 3 weeks. (September) I contacted the dealership as I have not received my tag/title. They told me to wait another week or so and it should arrive. I let three weeks go by (October) I contact the dealership they said they would find out what's wrong and get back in touch with me. I finally get a call in November. They reach out and tell me that National DMV(Third Party) is needing a VIN inspection. I then asked them "okay what does that mean?" What do I need to do? They said they would get back to me and let me know. Another 2 weeks go by I get really mad. I call the dealership and demanded an immediate response. They then told me that "They had been trying to get into contact with me to go get a VIN inspection" Which I was waiting to hear back from them. Which was a complete lie. (No emails or voice mails left?) I was at the airport checking in heading to Mexico. I checked my bags drove down the street and got a VIN inspection and drove back to the airport and sent a photo of the VIN inspection to AUDI DOM. They then contacted me and said "oh wait we need the physical copy." So I called a buddy of mine he went and got the VIN Inspection out of my car at the airport and overnighted it that night to Audi. I am telling you this because finally 3 months later they asked me to do one thing and I did it within minutes for them. November 23 Brandon Brock at Audi gets the Vin inspection. Mid December Weeks go by. Thinking all is in the clear. I will have my tag any second. I contact the dealership they say they're not sure why I don't have it. That they will reach back out to me and let me know. End of December. I call the dealership and go crazy on them. I demand to talk to the dealership owner Rick Cavender. The next day I receive a personal phone call from Rick who is completely embarrassed by the events that led up to this. He tells me he will put Josh Hoffart the GM on this right away to get me my tag ASAP. Today is January 11th, 147 Days since the purchase of my vehicle from Audi Dominion. I have yet to receive my tag and title for the car. This dealership is an embarrassment to Rick Cavender and his name. Rick was the nicest guy in the world I can't believe he has employees like this that work for him. I would never in a million years step a foot into this dealership again.

    Leadership has terrible attitude
by Malad, Mario from San Antonio | December 23, 2020

I was shopping for a Q3 and found one at this dealership that met spec requirements but was above targeted price point, the dealership blew me up with calls and voicemails for weeks to follow. When the price point dropped, I asked for disclosures of the vehicle and asked if there were cosmetic damages. I was told there weren’t any. Yesterday I processed all financing remotely and today my dad and I drove 3 hours from Houston to hand over the check and grab the car only to show up and find that car had paints chips EVERYWHERE, dents on the side door, and adhesive marks on the interior. Still with the mindset to make it work I asked the dealership manager, Mario, to do touch up on it to make it ready for me. Mario had a poor attitude and told me I could get it fixed myself upon purchasing it. I asked to speak to the dealership director, Malad came out and spoke with an even worse attitude than Mario did. Clearly the xxxx culture is spread from top down “leadership!” I walked out of the dealership and drove back to Houston with my dad. A $36k sale was lost by Audi Dominion today because their employees can’t get this xxxx together or provide even decent customer service to new customers, feel sorry for the existing ones.

They gotta improve they way they do business
by Chris from Brownsville, TX | December 11, 2020

They got great prices, but they aren't like other San Antonio dealership that can work on/start the process /contract without actually seeing your trade in person. Im from South Texas 4 1/2 miles away, I cannot just my trade in it so they can give some #s. Other places just ask for pics and videos of vehicle . Not even due to the pandemic

    Severely Disappointed
by A.Terrazas from San Antonio, TX | October 15, 2020

Issues with service 3 out of the 4 times I've been there. This last time, I took my vehicle in for the 40k maintenance and they missed a coolant leak. I noticed my oil level was low despite me just picking it up from them. I was told to bring it back for them to look at it. Super inconvenient. They did bring me a loaner after I complained, however told me nothing was wrong. I took it in for a second opinion to Audi North Park and they found a leak that looked like it had been there for some time. Total negligence from Audi Dominion. DO not trust them with your car. They do not exhibit Luxury Car Dealership behavior and Audi USA should not have them represent their cars.

    Great dealership!
by Cat C from San Antonio, TX | June 03, 2020

I had a great experience buying a car here! The facilities were so nice while I was waiting (coffee, snacks, water) and I was not pushed into buying a car. My dealer (Roberto) was so nice and patient with my decision. I recommend this place!

Everyone was friendly, professional, and followed all safety and social distancing guidelines. They made a stressful process in an uncomfortable time very rewarding. I have found a dealership with whom to build a relationship.

Not Transparent for their Consumers Safety
by Scared to Drive from San Antonio | April 19, 2020

On 4/13/20 I took my car to Audi Dominion to diagnose the check Engine and resolve the issue to turn the light off. I received the video diagnostic from Audi and spoke to my service Advisor and was told I had an oil cap leak, needed new breaks, and the Oxy sensor was causing the check Engine light to display, the Oxy sensor was a $700 repair and that my car would be ready later that day. Nearing the 6pm hour, my advisor called and said that after replacing the Oxy sensor the check engine light was still on. Well after 3 diagnosis checks later Audi Dominion finally said it was the Fuel Pump. This would be the vehicles 3rd fuel pump repair since it's Manufacture Date and fuel leaking could be all over in the coolant pump and on the engine, the vehicle is now a lemon and HIGH risk safety concern. I would like to keep my current terms of my loan financed thru Audi financial and find a vehicle within the remaining balance of my loan or I would like an extended warranty offer on the mechanical, electrical, and fuel issues provided by Audi at no cost.I'm concerned about the safety of the vehicle and my financial obligations to a car with known defects. The whole experience from purchasing the vehicle at Audi Dominion has been documented. None of the sales team from the original purchase are employed still. I have a voicemail from John Mark their old sales manager dating back to 11/18 apologizing about the experience. After refusing to drive the vehicle home today until I spoke to someone, I called to speak to the general manager Josh Haffort, and the receptionist ,said that he was unavailable. I left a message and he has not returned my call. On 4/16/20, Kyle Evans called me to go over the repairs of my vehicle and apologize about all the mis-communication between his advisors. Kyle was instructed by Josh H. ( general manager) to call. He went over the repairs and said that I would still be obligated for the $720 Oxy sensor----which was not the original fix to the Check Engine Light as I was told by my advisor on Monday that this would correct the Check Engine light. He also stated that he could not guarantee the lifetime of my vehicle. I asked about the Oil and fuel mix and asked how do we know that oil and fuel didn't not mess up my engine or still lingering on it? He said he didn't but they did two oil changes. I'm scared to drive my vehicle home and worried about my safety. I asked Kyle Evans for the original car fax of my vehicle. The Carfax shows that Audi Dominion used this vehicle as a loner vehicle prior to me purchasing. The car was serviced 4 times before my purchase date by Audi Dominion. According to the Carfax, my car was purchased, serviced, and sold as a certified pre-owner Audi on 10/31/18.I purchased my vehicle on 10/30/18. Please help, I'm scared to drive my vehicle. I'm on the 3rd fuel pump and Audi Q5 is only a 2016. I finally received a call back from Josh H, after emailing him requesting Audi manufacturer buy back my vehicle and he said, No.He said I'm obligated to pay the $720 for the Oxy Sensor which was not even the original solution to my check Engine light, and I have 10 days to pick my car up before they charge a $50 dollar storage fee. He did not even APOLOGIZE!!! I have left a message for Rick Cavendar, but from the looks he won't be returning my phone call.Audi Dominion does not even have an invoice for the services they provided on 10/31/18--probably because they are not being transparent about false certification of their Pre-Owned Vehicle.I seen several reviews with similar scenarios, we can't all be making up the same bad EXPERIENCE!I'm calling Audi Financial to tell them about this dealership and the customer service experience, I am sure they will not be pleased about their banking relationship with Audi Dominion and sales of Lemon. I'm sure they will not want me to lapse on my loan, or drive a unsafe vehicle due to the lack of transparency at Audi Dominion.
