Service Manager made good on Sales promise
by Cathy from Denvet | March 06, 2021

Kenny the Service Manager took over a problem with a promise Sales had made in order to close the deal. Kenny reached out to me, set expectations appropriately and followed through. I really appreciated his involvement in getting my issue resolved to my complete satisfaction.

    Terrible Sales Experience
    by JLK1709 from Denver, CO | January 27, 2021

Atrocious sales experience. High pressured and almost a caricature of old school "big man intimidation style" negotiation with Will Loomis. Will was incredibly condescending and this is truly a terrible place to buy a car. The sales person left my driver's license in the printer, I had to come back to retrieve it. Additionally, COVID protocols were not observed all over the dealership - several of the sales people were without masks and the sales person rode with you on the test drive, not even offering the opportunity to drive by yourself. Do not shop here - there are so many places to buy cars that treat you humanely.

    HORRENDOUS Customer Service
by Kelly Perella from Highlands Ranch | December 23, 2020

HORRENDOUS Customer Service!!!! My 2016 Kia Sorento with less than 80K miles, blew the head gaskets?! They offered to replace my engine for a mere $11K. They offered me $1000 Trade-In (I got the same amount from another dealership that doesn't even sell Kia's!). Trying to get into a used car with them that I could afford was useless. They wouldn't work with me at all on the trade in and "iced" us for several hours sitting in the lobby so they could pitch me on a new car that there is no way I could afford. When I called to speak to Courtney the General Manager to ask for a courtesy waiving of the $180 diagnostic fee so the reputable dealership I got a car from could tow my old car away - he outright refused to take or return my calls. Super Shady. Arapahoe Kia - NOT a Great Idea!!!!

    Go anywhere else
by Daryl from Lehi, UT | September 13, 2020

All the bad stereotypes of dealerships wrapped up in one. Darrell Harp is absolute garbage. Gives all the rest of us “Daryls” a bad rep Terrible, dishonest person to have running the finance department for any business. He is overly aggressive in selling warranties, going so far as tell me I don’t care to take care of my new SUV which is basically a Range Rover or Escalade (c’mon man). He didn’t like being called on that either. Wasn’t hard to get him to cut the price of a warranty in half, either. He also tried lying about the warranty that comes on the vehicle already—too bad I had done my research, Darrell. He had me sign forms but told me to leave the date fields right next to my signature blank. Very, very dishonest. I provided this feedback to the manager via email when their automated emails went out to solicit feedback—no reply. I flew in from out of state to pick up my vehicle and the price increased $1,200 from the written term sheet sent to me via email. $500 because I wouldn’t be eligible for the financing rebate I was told I’d receive over the phone. $700 for their “delivery fee” which is just BS some dealerships pull to increase their cut. Short story, take your business elsewhere. Sad these guys are still in business. Sad that Kia doesn’t reach out to new customers to get their feedback about their dealerships like GMC always has.

    Nope.
by Chuck Finley from Boulder, CO | January 20, 2020

Wow. Apparently these folks didn't get the memo about "better car-buying" experiences. They are old school liars, start to finish. Sales people lied to my face about vehicles in their inventory (ya' know, that are posted publicly online), and the finance staff straight lied about warranty coverage (which I knew because I own 3 other Kia's). Also had to wait 5 hours for the finance staff after the test drive. If you know what you're doing and are prepared to put up with their crap, it's survivable. But if you're not committed to a specific vehicle in their inventory, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

    Wouldn't recommend it
    by dlaxman31 from Denver, CO | August 28, 2019

3 stars for Sales 1 star for finance 2 stars for the dealership August 2019 - My wife and I went in to lease a Kia Sorrento back where we spent Friday evening test driving the cars and returned on Saturday to look at leasing options. We spoke to a sales rep and agreed on a price range obviously depending on our credit and duration of the lease. From that price range, we figured we would be along the lower number (since we have credit in the 800 range) we continued the leasing process. We began the paperwork with the sales manager, when we transitioned the process into the finance group. This is where it went from Okay to Bad. We sat down with the finance manager and began to review the process of our lease. At this point we got our monthly payment which was on the higher end of the number range given to us. This surprised us to say the least due to our excellent credit. The finance manager mentioned this was due to taxes not being included, which the sales manager informed us that taxes were included (Issue #1). Instead of fighting it, we agreed to the payment and moved on. The finance manager then introduced the warranty process. After declining the service, the finance manager said and I quote "Here’s what I’ll do, I’m able to move some numbers around and get that same warranty for you for only $2 more month”. Figuring this would cover a majority of the "issues" we would have with a lease, we continued with the process. The next sheet to sign highlighted the overall cost of the warranty, which once was $400 (fake numbers for example) dollars and now became ($600) dollars. Getting a bit frustrated I asked how our price went from A to B and now to C. The finance manager could sense our frustration and began to explain the same theory of punching some keys and moving numbers around. (Issue #2) Again we decided to move on with the process. Finally before almost having the keys in hand, the finance manager introduced a fee for returning the car at the end of the lease to the dealership in the term of $400. Again this wasn’t even explained to us during any part of the buying process (Issue #3). At this point this is when my wife and I decided that this wasn't the best decision for us since this was the 3rd time that the price continued to go up. We tried to be nice about it saying we needed to leave and think about it, and the finance manager said "I would recommend against that, we might not have time for you, and I will be very busy later today." A bit shocked with that response, we left the keys, all paperwork and left the dealership and not returning. I would summarize this review by stating that this dealership wasn't upfront with all of the pricing when leasing a vehicle, when asked multiple times. To be honest it felt like we were getting taken advantage of. We ended up taking our business elsewhere and purchased a car for the same price as a 36 month loan from this dealership. I believe this would show how outrageous their pricing scheme is. I would not recommend this dealership, and now after seeing other reviews and their overall rating, I can see why they are at the rating they are.

    Poor post-sale service
by Jay Boykin from Thornton | August 27, 2019

Purchased a 2019 Stinger. The car is awesome. The post-sale help was terrible. Paperwork had to be redone for some issues with taxes, and after weeks of waiting for a new account number, several calls to this dealership were met with "We will look into it." No one ever did. It was not until I received a call from Kia Finance, requesting a payment with late charges that I knew I finally had a new account. Great cars, but unimpressed with the service.
