    I recently traded in a vehicle, and purchased a different one at Andy Mohr Volkswagen in Avon. It was NOT a good experience at all. I had to leave the day of the sale due to prior plans, but was told to come back that afternoon to finish paperwork and pick up the vehicle. The salesperson then called to inform me that they were not aware the car wasn't ready, and needed a part replaced. This was on a Saturday so I was told to pick the vehicle up Monday afternoon. On Monday afternoon I reached out, and was told the wrong part came in and I would have to pick the vehicle up on Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon I went into the dealership to pick up the vehicle. As I was pulling out of the dealership I thought the Jeep had a weird smell but didn't think much of it, because I was told they had just detailed it. I figured it was from the cleaning supplies. I drove it strait to my house and parked it in the garage for the evening. The next morning I walked into my garage to leave for work. The fumes were almost unbearable. I got in the jeep to start it and they were even worse. I tried to start it and it quit twice. I got it to start and run on the third. Instantly got a headache from fumes and contacted my salesperson. They informed me that Management said it was sold "As Is" and there was nothing they could do. They fixed everything their technician said was wrong. Good luck, hopefully the problem isn't that bad. I would understand if I had been driving it for a week, or put a few hundred miles on it, but not the first time I drive the vehicle home from the dealership. Obviously everything wasn't fixed. It didn't smell on the test drive, and it started three times with no problems after the test drive because I'm always conscious to make sure. After paying a deposit on Saturday, the dealership works on it, replaces parts, and now something is wrong with it. I think at the very least they could have offered to take a look at the vehicle again. To tell someone they aren't willing to do anything, or even give a phone call, just shows they do not care about customer satisfaction one bit. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone in the future!! Take your business to someone that cares. Salesperson was nice, only good part about the experience.

    Bad customer service, worse experience

    Reached out to dealership about a particular car on a Sunday. To our surprise, they responded and an appointment was made for Monday. On Monday, we were called twice to confirm the appointment (5:30pm). We got to the dealership around 5:20pm and were told that the car sold "about an hour ago". We were disappointed but willing to look at other used cars. We were paying cash for an older winter-beater type car and they had a couple. The first was very beat up, needed obvious repairs and couldn't go over 40 without shaking. No thank you. Then they showed us a very nice vehicle but it was $4800. Over budget for the cash my son had on hand. After going back and forth, they wouldn't come down enough so both sides said a pleasant thank you and we departed. Disappointing experience but still good. My son, however, had a change of heart after seeing the car listed online for $4000 and decided to pay the majority in cash and finance the rest. He filled out the application online, was approved and then called by the dealer to come in and finish up that day. Twice. He went in after work. After waiting nearly a half hour, the salesman asked if he wanted to drive the car while they finished the paperwork. When he returned, there was another salesman talking to a different couple about the same car. Supposedly HIS car. After sitting another long period, he was finally presented with paperwork to finance a car costing over $7,000! What?! They said the bank changed the fair market value of the car so now it's financing over $10k. No discussion. No warning. Again, my son left without a car and no plans to return. Oh and that car is STILL listed online for $4k.

    I was in the market to get a vehicle, so my husband went with me. We had the worst service. I told our sales guy we had an appt. and what i wanted in a car. It took him over 20mins to just bring the car upfront. The car was coated in dog hair and smelled like smoke. They said someone rented it and returned it the day before. We were a little speachess that they couldn't take 5mins to vacuum it. So we drove around the area. The vehicle wasnt in bad shape, the mileage was higher than what the man said. It had 48xxx, they told us it had 40xxx. So when it came down to talking money. It had several chips in the paint, the tires were basically bald. So we told the dealership what we didnt like. the price was 27,680. We offered to put money down, plus i had a trade in. They refused to come down in price. They wouldnt even replace the tires. They offered a warranty for rust and that was it. So the manager came over, he was super pushy, but said he wasnt lowering the price. Other customers were interested in it. He kept saying the car is worth the price and it wasn't going to be lowered. We got up and left. They wouldnt even come down $500. if i wanted a vehicle with bald tires and needed touched up paint. I would buy something older. This car was a 2019. We will never buy from any Andy Mohr. Worthless company

    I had issue w the price of the car. On cars.com it was one price and when I connected with Andy Mohr VW price went up $2k. I addressed this to manager Mike ( he asked me about my experience by email ) but of corse I got No reply. My phone interaction w dealership was very poor too. I have to call 3 time just to get on the phone w sales. The whole process was disappointed,,,,

    Had a good experience purchasing our vehicle and even bought a second one. But getting the service center to call back when there are issues or when you are just trying to get regular service is a nightmare. We have had multiple issues until we sent an email outlining our experiences with the service department. From that we were offered a free oil change, loaner car and a VW travel mug that was broken. Purchasing a car from an out of town dealer is pain enough, but when they don’t call you back or make false promises, it’s not worth it at all.
