    DO NOT BUY HERE
by Concerned Buyer from Denver, CO | August 04, 2020

Do not buy your car from here! I recently bought an encore GX and didn't notice until my first payment was due that this place screwed me over. To start from the beginning, they lied about the listing price from what was stated online. When I showed them the price they then backtracked and said ok, fine. I had an additional discount, in writing from the sales manager, that they did not honor when I got there as well. Putting that dishonesty aside, I decided to still proceed because I thought it was still a good idea...However, the kicker was from the listed price they factored in my down payment and pretended it was a rebate from them when we were talking. I feel lied to, cheated and honestly mad with these people. They manipulated numbers to look like they were getting to that total we agreed upon, but were deceitful. I love my GX, but every time I get in it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because of this place. I asked a friend and family member to verify I wasn't crazy and they agreed that it was deceitful business and not honest how they said the total came to be. Please save yourself the trouble I experienced and DO NOT BUY from here.

    Worse used vehicle experience ever
by Jon Landwehr from CASTLE ROCK | June 06, 2020

I want to start this off saying that buying the car here was the smoothest process I have ever been through. I bought a 2015 3500hd duramax from here with 60k for mileage. I had the vehicle for 2 days and drove maybe 50 miles before it left me stranded. 3 weeks later I still have no truck, and I found out that they are doing electronic diag when they can fit it in. Not acceptable. How does an ecu fail 2 days after getting it with nothing showing up on the used car inspection? I'm sure the blew threw the inspection because they are so backed up, and I am the one who got screwed.

    Alpine Buick GMC
by Haskins, Jarred from Denver, CO | May 01, 2020

Bought a car back in May. Took them forever to do their part owed. Repairs and service are good but they take awhile, especially when they lose your appointment time. Have been trying to get a hold of someone in finance for a few months now but no response. Salesman keeps sending me junk emails after I asked to stop.

    No-nonsense is absolute nonsense.
by Mk from Denver, co | April 22, 2020

On Thursday, April 16, 2020 , my husband was offered a proposal for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500, after discussing the loan, insurance and getting paperwork ready, we were told the truck had sold. After expressing some frustration, we were offered a different 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT at a higher trim level, therefore it was more expensive and out of our price range. My husband then messaged the Alpine Buick GMC Facebook page where he was told he was speaking to one of the owners. The owner states: “It appears our sister store in Colorado Springs sold the truck 30 minutes before you committed to the deal. I can send you the paperwork with the vin number. Let’s see if my husband can find another similar truck you said they offered you a more expensive truck? Did you like the features? lets see if we can work you a special deal on that unit. It’s obviously not in our best interest to upset you. These are times that we are doing our best to keep employees working and employed. We need every unit possible sold. We are really sorry for the issue we caused you” We let them know what our budget was and stated we would be willing to throw in a $1500 down in addition to our budget. We were told that they would be wiling to do the more expensive SLT for our budget plus $1500 down. We were given a name and phone number to contact Aaron, the GM for more details. They then state “we won’t be able to finish up until tomorrow, but the truck is yours I promise Sold tag and all” The next morning, my husband reached out to Aaron and was sent a link for a truck with a different VIN than the one that was promised by the “Owner” on Facebook. Aaron stated “I didn’t know that truck existed. They own that truck for way more then my truck I’ll loose 8k on that truck My truck is loosing 3k.” My husband and I took a look at the new truck offered by Aaron and agreed that it would also be a good fit. We received a proposal for the truck and set up a delivery date of Monday, April 20, 2020 at 1:30PM. Shortly before delivery was supposed to happen, we were told the truck was not theirs as financing from the trade-in fell through. We were asked to wait 2 hours and instead of offering us the original truck that was PROMISED to us, he offered us down-graded models. My husband then posted 1-star reviews about our experience as we were feeling incredibly screwed over and did not feel that waiting 2 hours would do anything since we were now being offered downgraded trucks. Fast forward to Tuesday, April 21, 2020, I noticed the truck was still listed on their website. I reached out to see if it was available and to my surprise, I received an e-mail back from another associate informing me that it was. I e-mailed back and informed them that we were told the truck was unavailable. I later received and e-mail from Aaron, the GM stating that they would not be doing business with us because we tried to “strong-arm” them by posting reviews of our experience. The following is the review my husband posted: “ In the span of 5 days Alpine was the most frustrating roller coaster experience I have had. Initially I was offered a great deal on a Sierra 1500 to steal my business from a competitor. Once I had verbally agreed and sent out my confirmation of finance to them the truck was “sold” and I was offered a much more expensive model as a replacement. I lodged a complaint and was offered the up optioned model for essentially the same price as the original truck. I accepted and began to work on a delivery date and signed agreement; two hours before delivery I was informed that truck was not available, and they’d try to find me another (meeting the original trim level). As of right now I have been waiting on a call from “management” for an hour and a half. To reiterate the agreement was signed and I was left hanging.” As you can see, there is nothing in this review that was used to try and “strong-arm” anybody, we were feeling INCREDIBlY screwed over.

Thanks for the great experience and for the help!
by Rich J from Colorado Springs, Colorado | July 25, 2019

On Tuesday July 23, 2019, my 1993 Ford Explorer finally gave up after 27 years. I had tried to put off a vehicle purchase for some time, as my credit was not in the best of shape. Being self-employed, there are times that your credit can suffer, as you keep your business alive. I must say, I also suffered from a bit of embarrassment, due this fact of my credit being sub-par. I contacted the Alpine Buick GMC South Colorado Springs Dealership, as my first contact, because of a fondness to the Buick brand. Joani Pierce took my call and assured me that she would find a way to help, despite my credit circumstances, as I was left stranded and car-less. She asked me to complete an application online, to save me time and to get the process started; so, I completed the application moments after our conversation. About 30 minutes later, Joani texted me back to inform me that she had a way to go. She let me know what documentation I needed to bring to make the process smooth and seamless. From there, I hitched a ride and proceeded to the dealership. Once I arrived, Joani greeted me with the most pleasant demeanor, as if I had been a client for years. She let me know that I would be working with Edward Mesa, who would be showing me a new vehicle and pose as my sales professional. This was quite the surprise. I had hoped for just a used vehicle. A new vehicle was never anticipated, but it was a welcome opportunity. I sell real estate, as an Associate Broker. Having a new vehicle was a better fit, because I drive an enormous number of miles. Edward continued the exceptional customer service, carrying the proverbial torch, if you will allow the analogy. Edward brought up a 2019 Buick Encore in white with a dark interior. I do not know if they were psychic or if Joani had taken note of the color on my 1993 Ford, but that was definitely my preferred color-mix choice. Again, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. We took a drive, came back to the facility to complete paperwork, and then I was introduced to Darek, (Dutch) Harris. He was the paperwork financial team member that finalized my paperwork. Dutch was also just as professional and got me through the process with ease. They really make you feel like family at this facility. I would like to thank Joani, Edward, and Dutch for an awesome experience and for making my time there a pleasant one, despite my credit circumstances. Thanks for treating me like a person and not a person with sub-par credit. With that said, I have one final person to thank. After taking delivery of my vehicle, the next morning the check engine light came on and it made me a bit concerned. I immediately drove back into the dealership service department, to get it attended to quickly. I was met in the service drive by Eric. Eric was unable to address my concern immediately, because the shop was booked. However, he did run the codes, before I left to determine the severity of the issue and he deemed it not an urgent issue. He immediately scheduled me for an 8am appointment for the following day. The next day, I drove back and the light had disappeared. It was determined, because the vehicle may have been on the lot for an extended period of time, this is why an O2 sensor code showed up. He asked me to keep an eye on it and alert him immediately, if it shows up again, and he provided me his contact info. Again, his service was just as exceptional as the sales team. I truly believe that it is the sales team that starts an ownership experience, but it is the service team that brings the clients back. Eric’s attention and attentiveness to my concern, will definitely bring me back. Thanks for all of your efforts in helping me get a vehicle and for helping me feel security in the fact that I chose the right vehicle and purchase facility. Respectfully, Rich J.
