    Arrogance and games
by Matt from MI | October 08, 2020

Highest prices with in 100 miles. Arrogance when dealing with sales staff and games about pricing. Horrible customer service and lack of courtesy for your own personal time.

    Poor customer service
by Hannah Odzark from Luna Pier, MI | July 16, 2020

On Monday 6/29, my husband called to schedule a service appt for our new-to-us Chevy Silverado with Tim for Friday 7/3 at 730am. We had just bought the vehicle from Bill Crispin 2 weeks prior and noticed our speakers rattled. We did not buy from Allen Chevrolet because we were uninterested in their selection of trucks. Our truck, at the time, was under bumper to bumper warranty until the following day, considering we had a trip planned that would put us over mileage. Cool, that’s why we brought the truck in while still under warranty. My husband arrived and Tim listened to our speaker for 10 seconds and said “I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, but take it back to Bill Crispin where you bought it. They might fix it.” Okay, why did you even schedule us an appointment and waste our time? Absolutely unprofessional. Not to mention, Bill Crispin is located an hour away. We are Monroe locals and were planning on using Allen chevy for the lifetime of our truck. We will absolutely not ever use Allen Chevrolet nor recommend them to even a worst enemy. It took me 5 consecutive calls to reach Tim that day because I was panicked that our truck would no longer be under warranty if not serviced that day. I kept getting his voicemail every time I called so I put my male coworker on the phone to see if he could reach Tim. My coworker was immediately connected with Tim. Either Tim was dodging my calls or Tim is displaying characteristics of Sexism. I will let you decide. Tim only took responsibility for poor service once I asked him to apologize and reassured me he will look into our matter and get back with us to see if the speaker is covered. No one called me. I had to personally call for an update. I mean???? I filed a formal complaint with Chevy for awful customer service. TWICE. Tim stoddard in sales followed up with me and was WONDERFUL. Thought this circus was turning around however, Tim referred me to Mr. John Allen himself. John Allen called, accused me of threatening him because I said if this is not covered for some reason at this point, he needs to make it right and pay for it anyways due to the massive mistreatment and inconvenience or I will blow up with reviews. I guess that’s considered a threat these days? Laughable. Whenever I asked Allen a direct question and he replied “I understand your concern” instead of owning the mistake and answering my warranted concerns. When I asked him why my male co-worker was connected with Tim immediately and I was not he replied: “Our phones do not ring pink or blue.” Classy. I’m not an idiot Mr. Allen. I am an educated, professional woman. Good thing I will be taking my business to Dave White Chevrolet in Toledo Ohio, who asked me to come in ASAP and reassured me they would cover whatever cost. Save your time and money and DO NOT go to Allen Chevrolet located on Monroe St in Monroe MI. Happy to answer any questions management has about my experience, IF and WHEN they even care to follow through on ONE promise. Senior advisors with Chevy are now in contact with me about this absolute train wreck of an experience.

    Eh... Didn't even listen.
    by Inline00 from Monroe, MI | September 20, 2017

For service - I certainly am happy. The sales tactics when clearly outlining price and need is something to be desired. To communicate on a Friday morning what lease vehicle I need and price range, to have the cat-and-mouse activity with the sales person and sales manager on the FOLLOWING THURSDAY is just ridiculous. I don't feel that I was listened to nor does my business matter.

    Stanford Allen Dealership Review
by Daryl Yourist from Monroe, Mi | May 20, 2017

Over the years I have purchased over 15 vehicles and Stanford Allen has been by far the best dealership experience. They have been able to offer a true end to end business from sales to service. Thank you. Daryl Yourist

    Pain-free
by GoTribe from Toledo, OH | May 16, 2017

We just leased our second vehicle from Stanford Allen and were very pleased with the process both times. They worked with us to find a vehicle that fit within our budget and had everything ready for us to sign before we picked up the car. It was well worth the half-hour drive for us.

only care about selling a car
by no bowtie from Monroe, Mi | May 15, 2017

Went in to test drive a traverse to compare to explorer. Before made it to the door 1 salesman ask what we are there for tell him to test a traverse to compare against a explorer. So shows us to another salesman. Tell him same. Then he starts trying to sell us on a travese fully loaded. Tell him just want to test drive one. Asked for a license then wants to run my credit report tell him dont want to run my credit it will lower my score. So he says won't without my consent. Then trys to get paper work to start a sale tell him we just want to compare the to cars. Then goes and talks to his boss and i get a notification saying i had a credit lookup from the dealer. At this its been about an hr gettin annoyed. Comes back wants to run my wifes info too. Then says without money down he cant help us. Never seen a car not even info on a car. He asked if we ever been in one tell hom no. Still never seen a traverse or any car for that matter. I dont know how expensive chevys are but i guess if you dont have a down payment and first months payment in hand cant see the car. So wont be buying chevy.
