  The Service Department

  Service Dep't very efficiently run. They are knowledgable and courteous. The loaner car option is important to me. Dustin Duchesne, Service Manager, is extremely qualified. He is always there for explanations and friendly conversation. My car run always runs well because of this department.

  Issue with the Vehicle from the Day I picked it up

  Purchased a used vehicle that had multiple issues from the day I picked up the vehicle from an airbag warning light, sunroof and dome lights not working and a week later the engine light came on.Not a happy customer especially being a first time Volvo owner.

  Brenin was the FIRST car salesperon that we have ever had to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire purchasing process. He has terrific knowledge of Volvo and is confident of the quality and standard of the vehicles he sells. It was a no pressure sale and we appreciated his honesty and straightforwardness. We love our new Volvo!

  Tried to low ball you on your trade.even what they offered was way below what is on nada book value.and treat you like they don't need your business.so I went else where.

  I am not one to even write reviews. I hate car shopping. Horrible experiences everywhere and even at Beyers before. The only reason I bought the car is because of Deb and Brennin. They were passionate and cared about My needs and Knew their product. How many places do you go and sales people don’t know what their selling. I am in sales and can appreciate that. Buy your volvo from one of them

  Used car buying made easy

  Because I do hours and hours of research before I buy cars, I knew exactly what we wanted: a 2016 Honda CR V EX with around 30k miles. My wife and I had used online search tools in our area (Otsego County) and were having some trouble finding the year, model, trim line and miles but knew we had time to shop.Then, before an unrelated trip to Syracuse, I looked in that area and came upon a car the checked all our boxes at Alan Byer. I had called before to make sure the car was still available, and when we arrived we were introduced to Anthony Forte and the car was outside waiting for us. Anthony was friendly and knowledgeable and invited us to take a test drive. We both liked the car so we returned to the office to discuss price and ask questions we had about the price. We were immediately given the Carfax report and Anthony showed us the price and told us there wasn't much room for discounting it but we would get whatever the car needed for this number. When he delivered the auto 3 days later it had new high-quality tires, a new battery and had been beautifully detailed. We decided to accept what research said was a fair price considering the low mileage because the CRV is one of the most popular cars around. All in all, this was an easy experience and if you're looking for a car, I would certainly consider Alan Byer Volvo and if you want a used vehicle, ask for Anthony.
