    Buying made easy and Simple

Randy was really nice guy to deal with. He made my car buying process easy. Chris is also superb in explaining the Financial matters. I have recommended my friends to visit this showroom.

    Hard way every time
by JM from Hamilton Township, NJ | September 15, 2019

They often look for the hardest and most expensive way to do a repair. Case in point: the glue (yes, this surprised me as well - glue) that holds attachment clips for my car's headliner to the headliner itself let go, apparently from heat buildup inside the car when parked in the sun. I asked them to fix it for me (a convenience not necessity - because I've done this myself with some industrial automotive adhesive and a little patience, and it lasted well over a year) and was given some crazy price that I've blocked from my memory (was about $1000, due to some malarky about it being a tricky involved process - they were probably going to replace the thing with a new headliner priced like most of their parts that no aftermarket source has taken up.) Other situations have occurred, where service they provided or offered to provide and that is not exactly rocket science was way overpriced. I'm not a fan. Avoid having a Volvo after the warranty has expired. You'll starve from paying for repairs long before fate brings a life threatening accident your way (the ONLY positive distinction they can claim over the competition in my opinion) because a lot of little things go wrong. They are safe, but not terribly reliable.

    Safest vehicles and amazing service!!!
by Karin from Pennington, NJ | July 31, 2019

I am a Volvo driver for life!!! I was driving my S60 this past Spring when I was sideswiped by an 18 wheeler while driving at highway speed. The airbags went off and caught my head before it hit the inside of the car. The paramedics said that the driver's side doors could not be opened and they asked if I could climb out the passenger side of the car. Before climbing out, I glanced down at the driver's side door and short of the airbags going off there was no evidence that I had been in an accident on the inside of my car. The car was not drivable and had to be taken on a flat bed truck to a local car lot where I later saw the car. The entire driver's side of my car was completely ripped apart and the car was ultimately totaled by the insurance company. I had been completely protected by the car. I now have an XC90 and I know that my family and I are as safe as possible on the road.

Easily the Most SHADY dealership I've ever seen
by Dawn from Maryland | May 11, 2019

I have never been compelled to leave a review, but the business practices at Volvo Cars Princeton (2931 Brunswick Pike) are unimaginable. Eileen Amato and her manager are dishonorable. No one ever accused a car salesperson of being honest, but I've also never witnessed such blatant shady tactics in an effort to score a sale. In my years of buying and selling cars working with various dealerships up and down both coasts (from Acura to BMW to Toyota in MD, PA, NJ, NY, CA, WA, etc), I have never experienced the level of disservice as I have by Volvo Cars Princeton. To make matters worse, they charge over KBB. You'd think with the extra cash flow there'd be better service and they'd be able to afford more honorable staff. I'll be sure to tell friends and family in NJ and beyond to avoid Volvo Cars Princeton.

    Never-ending customer service nightmare
by Melissa from Hillsborough, NJ | January 17, 2019

Their customer service is exceedingly lacking. My husband and I previously purchased two cars from Princeton Volvo without incident. This time we were happy to return to the Princeton location only to be met with frustration, poor communication, an overall lack of respect for our time and incompetence. After two long days of working with the Sales Manager. Renier, and a salesman, Randy, I purchased my new XC60 on 12/29. At that time a handful of small dents were observed by all parties near the rear driver side door handle as well as above that doors frame. Additionally, a scratch was found on the bumper. I was told that the scratch would be repaired and they would attempt to repair the dents. I would receive a check for $500 if the dents were not repairable. I was told a loaner would be brought to me and exchanged with my car when the repairs were going to be completed. That did not occur. I purchased a car 19 days ago and have only had the vehicle in possession for 6 days. I received that loaner on Friday, 1/4. I have not gotten my new xc60 back from the dealership yet. It's been 12 days. I still have no timeline or communication from the dealership. In addition, I have not received my check for $500 for the dents they cannot repair. The purchase should have been halted once the damage to the bumper and dents were located. The repairs should have occurred before the final purchase. At the time the general manager stated we could start over and look for a new car, or they would repair my car as seamlessly as possible with a loaner vehicle in a couple of days. I should have scrapped this purchase and chosen another vehicle. I think I was pressured into believing this repair process would not affect me or my family. I just want to enjoy my new car. This experience has been awful. I don't blame Volvo as a corporation. I stand by the brand. However, I'm appalled with the lack of customer service at the Princeton Volvo dealership. I will not be going to Princeton Volvo for my next Volvo purchase. The sales manager, Renier, could have kept in communication with me during this process. Even communication via a receptionist or assigning the salesman to follow-up on the repairs and timeline would be appreciated. I believe 100% that he does not care about this car as he already made the sale.

Volvo makes the Car, Princeton makes the relations
by Seth Greenberg from South Brunswick, NJ | November 23, 2018

As a family, we have been doing business with Princeton Volvo for over 20 years. Some cars we have bought outright and the rest leased. You will not find a more enjoyable experience when purchasing-leasing a Volvo or having it serviced by Princeton. The Long family knows there friends very well, I use the term friend because that is how you are treated. When it comes from the first purchase or lease or routine service. I have moved away from the area several times and was never really happy with the service my Volvo's from other dealerships. It's always a pleasure to come back to my home dealership for a service appointment or just a drop hello.
