    Valley Nissan scammed us. Do not work with them.

    Valley Nissan took advantage of us and scammed us out of over $6,000. A few years ago we bought a brand new Nissan Frontier, and had a good buying experience with them. We recently went back to trade in the truck for a family SUV. We are about to have our first baby and opted for a used SUV for a family car. We wrongly thought the sales team at Valley Nissan would be honest and reliable with us in our purchase. We wrongly thought we could trust them and the reliability of the used vehicles they were selling off their lot. From the day we drove our new-used SUV off the lot we had nothing but problems. From the AC not working at all, to the check engine light coming on several times for various sensors (all of this after they claimed to have done a full inspection) we have had to bring the car back in for servicing 4 times in the first 2 weeks. Finally when we took the car to our mechanic, he found a laundry list of items wrong with the car and told us the car should NEVER have been sold to us in the first place. He said there was no way Valley Nissan did not know of all these problems prior to selling the car. After 6 weeks of fighting with the sales team and sales managers at Valley Nissan to try and get them to rectify the situation (and dealing with all their xxxxxxxx statements about how they were going to help us out) we ended up trading in the lemon SUV and getting a smaller certified pre owned SUV, and losing over $6,000 in the process. We now have a car that is not ideal for us, a huge loan, and an extremely bitter taste in our mouths for everyone we have dealt with at Valley Nissan in Longmont. Needless to say, we will NEVER be back to Valley Nissan again. Sales team: Gabe, Andrew, Chris, Troy- you are the reason the car sales industry has such a terrible reputation. It is because of you that customers like us are repeatedly scammed out of money and time, and walk away with a complete disrespect and distrust for everything you do.

    Terrible Service Experience

    This summer I had my sunroof replaced at Valley Mitsubishi due to a recall. It leaked really bad and I went in for service on 10/07/19 fix the sunroof. They offered a special on an oil change, tire rotation, new air filter, cabin filter and windshield wiper blades so I had them do that. After picking up my car and as the week progressed I started hearing a really loud thumping under my car. I drive back-and-forth on Highway 36 everyday and then to Longmont a couple times a week. By Monday that something had gotten so loud that I got underneath my car to see what it was. I noticed that the plastic covering over the engine that is under the car was really loose and a bolt fell out while I was looking at it. I thought that was what the noise was that I was hearing and I drove all the way to DIA and back with my daughter. Then I drove to Longmont and took the car back to them to find out why it was making all this noise since leaving there. After keeping it for the day they told me that they tightened the plastic shield under the engine and that the source of the loud noise was from the front lower control arms needing to be replaced. They said they recommended replacing the control arms and quoted me $1200 parts and labor. When I looked up what the parts cost it was around $130 total. I then took my car to my friends mechanic who looked at the control arms and told me there was nothing wrong with them. The source of the noise was coming from my wheel because Valley Mitsubishi had not tightened the lug nuts on it and as I drove on it it progressively got looser. He said my tire was so loose that he could see it wobbling as he put it on the lift. My conclusion about Valley Mitsubishi is that they are either incredibly deceitful and careless, or they are terrible mechanics. Either way, I would never recommend taking my car there for service, ever!

    Very dishonest beware actually run

    Valley nissan of longmont took advantage of me. Having bad credit lied and said we would have to pay 4k extra to finance company to get loan. Lied about needing 1000 down. Added warranty lied said it was required by finance company. Yes I have learned my lesson. What can I do nothing. All I can say is finance person Eric was not only extremely rude dishonest. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

    I purchased a pre-owned certified Nissan Rouge from Longmont Valley Nissan. The purchase process went smoothly and I was pleased however after I had the car for about a year and a half and had driven it for less than 5000 miles it was having major transmission issues. I took it back to them and they told me it was in need of a brand new transmission. The cost was about 1/2 of what I paid for the car. They refused to give me any kind of discount even though they had sold me a pre-owned lemon. Never again will I purchase a car from them. Dishonest and not willing to do the right thing.
