    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

    I scheduled an appointment and went in for an oil change. Purchased the package deal. It took over three hours to service my car when I was quoted an hour. When it was all said and done, due to a chip on one of my rims I noticed that they didn?t rotate my tires, which was supposed to be part of the service. The manager (Leo) told me I could call in and they could get me in and out ASAP at my soonest convenience to fix the issue and all I would have to do is call before coming in so they could make sure I wouldn?t have to wait very long. I called back a week later and the person I talked to had pulled up my profile and there was no notes left to finish my service and quoted me waiting an hour to rotate my tires. I had told her I was able to come in today or the next business day but needed to get my tires rotated. I further explained the situation and asked her to speak with the manager. She got back on the phone with me and told me she spoke to her manager and no one was aware of this and Leo was not in. She also said it could still take up to an hour. This wouldn?t have been a big deal to me if the manager didn?t say to call back and they'd do their best to get me in and out to fix the issue. That didn?t end up being the case, no one was aware of it, not even the other manager and the customer service from the person I spoke with the second time was horrible!

    First visit to Ken Garff GMC!

    My car broke down and a family member recommended that we take it to Ken Garff GMC in Riverdale. We ended up having to have it towed there and unfortunately the tow driver took it to the wrong place. The customer service representative, Charles, spent the better part of one day searching for our car and finally located in it a different Ken Garff service location. Charles had it brought to the right place and the mechanic that was recommended, Tyler had it fixed in no time. The whole experience was terrific and although we hope not to have any more vehicle problems, if we do we will definitely go back to Tyler and Ken Garff GMC.

    The completion time was quicker than expected, only 45 minutes. Whereas before it was 1.5 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation and car wash. The environment felt different while I was there. I noticed a new mission statement in the waiting area. Things have changed. I also complimented the service advisor as were walking to the car. 'Great Job, that was quick'!

    Terrible Customer Service!!!

    I purchased a new Jeep and paid cash for it. They told me before I drove it off the lot, they would have it spotless and the alignment will be corrected because it was towed outward. The "maintenance" the vehicle very quickly and when I drove it off the lot, sure enough it still pulled to the left and there was still dog hair in the back because the sales manager (Hyrum) took it for the weekend and had his dog in the back seat. I was crunched on time and had to get home. I drove the hour and a half home to Provo Utah. I got in touch with them and they said I had to go back up to the Ogden location to get this fixed when there is a ken garff two miles from my home. Not even a month went by and the passenger seatbelt seized. Like completely stopped working. I brought the vehicle in to the ken garff near me and they said that they could fix it but we needed to work out arrangements with the Ogden location. I called Ogden and spoke with a service guy and he said it wouldn't cost anything for them to replace. This was good news. He said I needed to go over things with the sales manager so I called Hyrum and he said he would check up on the part availability and call me right back. Weeks went by and I stopped off to the local men garff and expressed my concerns about the seatbelt and the alignment because I could see the tires already start to wear. I spoke with a man who actually wanted to help. He called Hyrum and once again he said he would get right back to me and I NEVER heard from him. Fast forward a bit to yesterday. I called Hyrum personally and he said oh yeah! Let me look into that and I'll call you right back. I waited hours for the call and nothing!!! I called him this morning only to find that my call was rejected and sent to his voicemail. So I called back again and it rang more than twice this time but once again, the voicemail. I left a voice mail and still am waiting to hear back. If I could recommend anything. Don't use Hyrum as a sales manager. Nothing will get done.

    I went to check out a used Astro Van. The customer service was incredible. They were easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, and flexible with communicating in various ways. When I got there they gave us water, and while we didn't buy the van there sales reps and other employees were helpful and friendly!

    Originally bought my Buick new 2005 and Ken Garff has serviced it every year since or anytime something doesn't seem right they get right to work on it until 100% correct. As a result my car runs just like new. The service personnel always treat me as if I'm a new customer purchasing a new car they truly do care.

    Service department is SUPER! We actually changed from another GMC dealer because of their service department and we have been so pleased with Ken Garff. We drive 300 miles to come to their service department and are glad we made the change.
