    Lies, lies and more lies
by Morty Sanchez from Los Angeles | January 28, 2020

After going back and forth about a car I was interested in, I was told that the car I wanted had just sold! Then they tried to push a different car on me. Save your money and go to a better dealership!

Service department managers are always exemplary
by Wendy from Los Angeles, California | September 28, 2019

I always bring my Lexus to this dealer for service. I find the service managers with whom I have worked over the last few years at the Olympic Blvd. location to be very helpful, reliably communicative, attentive to my concerns, and a pleasure with whom to deal. I have had the pleasure to work with Eddie, Freddie, and most recently, Angel, who inspired me to write this review.

    TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! AVOID
by Erik from Los Angeles | September 16, 2019

My wife got into a total loss and needed to get a new Lexus. We did lease one but LEXUS owes us more than $5,600 between what they were paid by the insurance and what my payoff amount was. It has been 2 months since they received payment from my insurance company but have still not forwarded me my $5,600. Calling Lexus Financial is an absolute nightmare. They always promise everything but never deliver. Hold times when calling exceed 30 minutes!! DON'T BUY LEXUS.

    Worst experience of my life
by Joanna from Sherman Oaks, Ca | August 30, 2019

If you want to hear about how Lexus screwed me over by ruining my credit, taking a loan out in my name more than what was needed (without my knowing), has advised me to get my car REPOED, and still has not done anything to help me, read below. My lease expired in July so I decided to walk into the dealership to purchase my car. I made this transaction on July 10. Five days later, I was charged a car payment from Lexus Financial - my last car payment was made in June. They were not supposed to take out another payment so I decided to cancel the transaction through my bank. That entire week Lexus Financial was blowing up my cell and another phone number that I have specifically told them 10000 times they can no longer call. They were leaving me messages stating that my account was past due and that I needed to return my vehicle. This did not make any sense to me since I had already purchased my car. I called Lexus Financial and they informed me that Jim Falk Lexus had not informed them that I purchased my car and because of this my account stated past due. I reached out to Jim Falk to let them know of my concerns and they told me they would take care of it - they did not. A week later, Lexus Financial called and told me that it is time to return my leased vehicle. I reached out to Jim Falk AGAIN, and I was told it would be taken care of. Another two weeks pass, and guess what? Not only did Lexus Financial call AGAIN, but they had taken another car payment. This transaction was then reversed by my bank for the second time. Lexus Financial left me a message stating my account was two months past due and I am going way beyond my lease agreement and I need to return my car. So that, I did, or at least attempted to. I went back to Jim Falk Lexus (this being my third time there in a month) and asked to speak with the sales manager. I waited about an hour to be helped. I stated all my concerns and that I was tired of dealing with this and would like to return my vehicle. JOHN KIM stated "Lexus is still calling you because they didn't know you bought your car, don't worry you can keep it." (Mind you this is a month later) Me, not trusting that they would take care of it considering they've told me 3 times it's been taken care of, I stated I would like to return the vehicle. I am done dealing with Lexus. John Kim then told me, "Well if you don't want the car, just leave it parked on the street. Someone will come get it." ????? I did not comprehend so again he tried to make himself a little more clear, "Just empty you car and leave the car on the street, either someone from here or wherever will come take the car." ???? Still did not understand how this was my solution. He again said, " LEAVE THE CAR ON THE STREET AND SOMEONE WILL TAKE IT, IT'S CALLED REPO!" He advised me to have my car repossessed! I left Jim Falk furious! And that day, I decided to get some advice from a lawyer. She informed me that I had a pretty solid case - and then we digged deeper. I later found out that my buy out went from $17,000 to $29,000. They charged me all these extra packages without my knowledge! I then called and was somewhat helped by Joey. He told me I can come down to Lexus and he will deduct some of these packages. They have still not all been deducted. I have been calling and leaving him voicemails and he has not gotten back to me. It is now September and I am still waiting to be helped. This by far has to have been the WORST customer service/ deal experience I have ever experienced. DO NOT GO HERE!

Racist Manager Made Us Feel Unwelcome
by R from Los Angeles, CA | June 12, 2019

Please read this -- several of the last few reviews have consistently been 1-Star, and there is a very valid reason for this. We came by to look at a few cars, and we were ready to buy that day. The sales manager, Kaalan Day (KD) met with us to negotiate after we test drove a car. He started off by noting how "physically small" we were, and then profiled us because of my tattoos. He even went as far as to make several unsavory racial comments that we found overwhelmingly offensive. At this point, we left. Nobody deserves to be treated like this. Although KD probably believes he comes across as a "smooth talking, cool, and funny" guy, he's actually a pathetic excuse of a human, let alone, "manager". He's the archetypal unscrupulous car salesman who exudes sliminess and thinks he can talk you into doing anything. I felt so physically dirty after talking to him that I wanted to take a shower. We've been trying to call in and complain to upper management, but whoever answers the phone has been transferring our calls to phone lines that don't exist. I think management is trying to keep all of this quiet. We're in the process of escalating this issue to Lexus corporate. Do yourself a favor, and listen to all of these bad reviews. There are plenty of better Lexus dealerships in Southern California. Don't go here.

Preoccupied with up-selling and nickel and diming
by McFarlinS from Beverly HIlls, CA | May 26, 2019

I just purchased a new Lexus RX 450h from Jim Falk. The sales experience was slow and the battery failed on the first day - not a big deal - but a glimpse at how little QC they have on checking their cars before releasing them to customers. I just completed getting the first 5K mile service on my new car. The check-in experience was slimy. The service, which is supposed to be free, cost $239.00 - the first time I've ever had a charge for the first service on a new car. When I brought the car in, the CSR went through a list of five or six optional and chargeable items that I didn't need and said I might need an alignment because the left rear wheel rim had scratches from hitting the curve. (The rear wheel requires alignment?) Sure enough, when I went to pick up my car, they said a $229 alignment was required and charged $1.29 for window cleaning fluid. The free car wash looked like a free car wash. The windshield had spots and the car body looked like it had been rinsed but not washed or dried. In summary, my experience at Jim Falk is that they want to look good - they frequently asked me to provide great ratings for them - but they're preoccupied with upselling and nickel and diming. They don't have a quality customer service culture. I have owned Lexus vehicles for more than 25 years. The last purchase was through Santa Monica Lexus. I have had my car serviced at Glendale Lexus, which has always provided excellent customer service but is not close to home. In the future, I'll drive further to get proper service.

    Best experience so far
by junaid from Los Angeles, CA | April 16, 2019

I was reached out by Edgard against my query for a quote. From the get go he was super helpful and clear. He gave me a great deal and spent some 1.5 hour on the phone to go over all the numbers for the lease. Once I had all the numbers laid in front of me ( like MSRP, sale price, cap cost, adj cap cost, base rent, tax and final monthly premium) I knew I was getting a great deal. Next day I went in and he along with his manager assisted me with professionalism and I came out a happy customer. Will definitely recommend these guys.

    service and repair
by Richard Greenblatt from Los Angeles, ca. | April 01, 2019

We purchased a used 2004 LS 430 from Lexus which has given us great service. Last week, I took the car at 0930 for a Thursday appointment at your Olympic service center for oil/lube and two problems-one was the TRAC light and the other was the right mirror being stuck for some reason. The service person suggested some other items as the car had 63,000 miles on the odometer. THe next evening, I called to discuss the estimate, and coincidently the service person also contacted me. The service person gave me a price which I thought was excessive, at which time she asked what it would take to get me to agree to the work. I demurred and came back the next morning to turn in the rental car and to pick up my car, for which to my knowledge the service person never gave me a price nor was the work performed for the oil and lube. I paid $600 for the mirror re adjustment and diagnostics. The service manager price varied from 2500 to 3500 to over 5 000. at different times during our meetings in person and by phone. The experience seemed to be a sales effort.

Excellent service with a superb experience
by Krystal E. from Los Angeles, CA | March 24, 2019

We were in the market to replace our lexus with a newer (but used) version. This is was the EASIEST purchase experince of my life. Navid was professional but super efficient. He provided all of the necessary info and was honest about our payment options based on our credit. Sam the finance guy was stellar as well. We were in the dealership at 1 and out by 3 with a beautiful, low miles Lexus that is totally covered by warranty. Everyone was professional, kind and provide a really great experience all around. Thank you so much!
