    My Apologies to Gill Auto Group. Previously in a review, I wrote the dealer never answered my questions about the Vehicle, when in fact they did. After checking my deleted emails I came across one where they sent me a link to a video they made just for me about the Vehicle, which I thought was pretty cool! So if I knew how to delete old reviews on here I would. Hopefully this review cancels out the negative one as the dealer was really helpful in answering my questions. So thumbs up to Gill Auto.

    Never answered my original emaled question about the transmission on the vehicleast I was interested in. They were only concerned with talking to me on the phone directly and would not answer a simple email question about the vehicles transmission unless I called directly. Typical used car salesman technique.

    I had the deal set, including finaning approved. I made a $500 deposit over the phone. Just needed to get off work only a couple hours after making the deposit so I could book a flight. While in the process of purchasing airfare (i would have flown in 2 days later) I get a text NOT A PHONE CALL, telling me not to buy a ticket because they just sold the vehicle. Guess you can't count on a deposit to hold a vehicle, even for a couple hours So you can live you will be there.

    I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Gill Auto Group. The first time I came in, I received terrible treatment from a manage. He was rude, condencending, and was very unprofessional. I decided to return since the price on the Jeep dropped, but did not want any dealings with that manager. He apologized for his actions a month prior to then and I bought the car. 3 months latee, my car broke down and had fuel pump issues. I called to try to get my car out of park (it is a 4 wheel drive car and I could not get it into neutral to get it on the tow truck). The service department was again, rude. They did not want any dealings with me because I called a AAA tow truck rather than a Chrysler tow truck. Once it got to the service department, I handed the keys over and the department said they would fix it and have it washed for me to pick up. 13 days later, I was able to pick up may car. Every time I called to check on the car, they lacked urgency to get it fixed in a timely manner. When I picked it up, it was just finishing getting washed, the inside was not clean, and there was water running down everywhere on my car that will result in water marks. I am truly disappointed in the whole experience, and was really hoping it would have gone differently. Unfortunately, this is not the case. They lack customer service skills, maybe because I am young and a female, but that should not matter.

    We were in the market for a Toyota Tacoma. We were coming from a recent bad experience with another dealership. Jim and the other staff at Gill Auto Group were understanding and patient; and willing to do whatever it would take to get into the vehicle of our choice. They made the whole purchasing experience very pleasant. I want to thank all of the staff, in particular Jim for all that they did. I would highly recommend this dealership to friends and others. Our family is enjoying our new truck.

    great people, This wasn't the usual bull you get at most dealers. friendly staff and knowledgeable and at most dealers your in there office for hours this company is great I buy cars for my 2 business and I get sick and tired of the bull that some dealers try I will walk out.     This is the first online review I have ever written but I felt compelled to do it. I very recently bought a car from Gill Automotive (formerly Pistoresi) in Madera and I have to say it was the best experience I have ever had. From the minute I walked in the door they were courteous, friendly and ready to help. They found exactly what I was looking for and fully "bent over backwards" to help me! I don't have great credit but they still qualified me and the monthly payments are exactly what I asked for with NO money down! I would like to thank Rick, Ralph in sales, Anthony in Finance and Mike in the service department for your wonderful costumer service, you really do go the extra mile (which is why I decided to write this review!). I will absolutely recommend this business to anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
