    Terrible Experience
by SalesManager from Fremont, CA | February 15, 2020

Terrible Experience I would like to talk to the dealership Manager or the Owner of this dealership... my experience was very bad. I got quote from the internet sales manager for the RAV4 XLE FWD for $XXK out-the-door as shown below(picture) with details such as the stock number, added package, MSRP:$31572. I came in take the test drive with the direct car and run my credit. when we about to sign the paper, one guy who has higher-ranking come out and says that (the internet sales manager is new here he gave you the wrong price u have to pay $3K more for this car, the price he quote you I can't sell it to you for the same price I can offer u the basic model) I was What???How can you do this? I'm sure that the internet sales manager didn't make a mistake for the price, we know what car with what packages, what price we are talking about and it has stock number MSRP. when we were talk through Email or even in dealership I confirmed couple time with the internet sales manager. Your internet sales manager knows what he is selling and I know what car I’m looking for(the same car) But the higher- ranking person came out ask for $3K more, it was crazy.. i try to negotiate with him, but he seems that he doesn’t want to negotiate. If u ask for a little more I can understand, but not $3K more. I came because of the discount that he offer is ok for me and the internet sale manager offer me what he can offer...but the reason that the higher-rank employee told me that doesn’t make sense. how can you do business like this?

    Very bad experience
by Jack Fang from Fremont, CA. | November 25, 2018

Fremont Toyota email me an advertisement showing a 2019 Corolla at a relatively low price. It attract me and decide to buy one. However when I reach Fremont Toyota, the salesman said that price is for model LE. A system glitch made it show model SE on advertisement and they therefore refuses to give me a SE at that price. I told them that if I click the "more detail" button, it lead me to a page of model SE specification and the stock number is just the same as its advertisement, but salesman and manager keep saying that it's a glitch and they cannot honor that advertised price. I'd been there for twice, they finally introduce me to their Internet Sales Manager. the Manager concluded that they as a franchise do not have obligation to honor that advertisement cause the ad was created by Toyota HQ. If there are any errors or glitches, it should be HQ to take the responsibility. He also said that if I want to complain, I have to give it to Toyota HQ, and I can even give this story to ABC Channel 7 if I want to and he'd even be able to provide me their phone number if I need. This is the worst buying experience in my whole 60 years life and the worst Sales Manager I ever met. Toyota is an International Company, trusted by many including us for years, we'd never thought that Toyota will dishonor its reputation in such way here. Its a shame to Toyota and to Fremont Toyota.

    Grossly overpriced
by Internet sales from Bay Area, ca | November 24, 2018

Was shopping for a TRD PRO. Advertised on Cars.com as MSRP, however when I called they wanted a ridiculous markup of $15000!?!? On a truck that most decent dealers sell for MSRP. Wow just wow!

    IT WAS HORRIBLE
by Nanci from Fremont ,CA | June 21, 2018

I went walking in the used car sales lot. The salesman were all sitting at the side of the building. I asked can someone help me to look at a few vehicles and they just sat there looking at each other as though they were trying to decide who feels like helping me. HUGE MISTAKE. My frustration I just left. I had already had my credit union loan papers ready to purchase a vehicle. So there loss. I will NEVER GO there again.

    Worst customer service experience
by James from San Francisco ,CA | April 06, 2017

I bought a brand new Toyota Corolla from this dealership , And I recently lost my car keys and tried to use my spare , but the ones they provided for me with did not go to my vehicle . So I had to get it towed to the Toyota delalership and they told me that they would not replace them . And that I had to pay the full price for a new set of keys . And that because I didn't notice that the keys they gave me when I bought my vehicle didn't belong to my car sooner that it was my fault. They apologized for that they had a mix up but that they would not cover the cost of the new key which I had paid for . Do not talk to RACHEL she was very rude , cut me off while I was trying to explain the situation , and she will hang up on you . Hmmmm very unprofessional behavior for a customer relations manager . They kept giving me the run around , hung up on , and not calling you back . So much that I had to drive to the dealership in person to voice my concerns , and still no one wanted to help me . They pretty much were uncooperative and pushing me out of the show room to get rid of me and not resolve a mistake they made . Will never purchase a vehicle from this dealer again !

    Ask for Simon Dharmawan.
by Kevin Quan from San Jose, CA | April 02, 2017

This past weekend, I helped a close friend of mine purchase a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE Eco from Simon Dharmawan, one of the internet sales managers. My first impression of the dealership was that it was extremely well-maintained, with many offices for the finance managers to expedite the sales process for multiple customers. There is also a child-friendly entertainment area, as well as a stellar coffee machine with tons of touchscreen options. Simon was by far the lowest-pressure and most accomodating salesperson I have encountered in the car business (having worked in the industry for 2 years), and had great patience despite my cutthroat questions and desire to establish total transparency. My advice to prospective buyers would be to come in with your research in hand, ask for Simon, and prepare to fire away with questions until you're completely satisfied with making a decision. I thoroughly enjoyed the negiotations and would come again just to have fun.

    Horrible, worst experience ever!!!!
by Alejandra from San Jose | January 03, 2017

This was by far the worst experience ever!!!! Such a waste of time. I am honestly at a loss for words because I am so angry and disappointed. Here is what happened first of all I got to the dealership at 11am it is now 7:30pm and nothing was done not even shown a car. I got to the dealership knowing what car I wanted and they never brought me a car. I was promised they had the car I wanted and after signing paperwork and after a few hours of waiting they said someone else had sold it. This event happened twice the same day same dealership. I picked 2 cars and said they had them, after a few hours of waiting they had sold both cars. These guys are very unprofessional and have a very bad communication with each other. So much happened in one day. I walked out with a horrible experience.

    Worse dealer ever
by Bashir Ahmed Rumy from Alamed, CA | March 25, 2015

They are the worst dealer I have ever seen, I bought a car for the first time and I didn't have a good credit score so they took the full advantage of it and gave me a higher rate then a new car but they gave me a used car, I need a car so I count say anything because I was new in usa so i didn't know anything whatever they told me I belived them. Now after 5000 miles the car need maintenance and for maintenance I bought oil change insurance from them, but when I went to do that the service guy told me that I not eligible for the service because the finance manager sold me the wrong pacakge... In one word Fremont Toyota sucks please everyone do not go there because once they sell you the car they will forget you..

    Difficult people
by Toyota Fan from Fremont CA | January 31, 2015

If you want to have a "used car salesman" experience, check these guys out. I found a car I wanted to buy, but the salesman got really aggressive... he started arguing with me and inferred that I was wasting his time, etc. I have owned Toyotas for years and I have been to a lot of dealerships, and I have never met people that were so disrespectful to a customer. I went to another dealership and paid just a little more, which I figure is a good investment; if they are that rude before they have your money, I can't imagine how bad it would be trying to resolve any issues that might come up.
