    Be careful with the stated prices. They will advertise a price and when you reach out they will tell you the vehicle has $XXX amount of add ons and then give you the actual price which is way different than what they post. They are just phishing for people by marketing the price as base and then adding additional costs. Other companies will just tell you the entire cost up front.

    Came to this store after being screwed with at a dealership down the street, came in found a truck I was interested in. Ended up buying the truck, but threw the process the finance manager lied to me after I got home an sent back what they needed to complete the deal. Called back a week and a half later an was lied to once again about paperwork being finalized. The finance manager was not communicating with the sales guy who sold truck. Came into Ed Martin with a trusting mind set, and that didn’t last long. Explained to the GM what issues came up the only thing I got back was “we have great reviews an take pride in that” meanwhile I had a bad review an never once seemed like a concern. Learned my lesson about what really goes on “behind the scenes” an wont return to Ed Martin buck gmc.

    Do not buy from Ed Martin. We bought a vehicle from them only to find a multitude of problems with it after signing the paperwork. When we test drove the vehicle, everything seemed fine except it needed a new radiator and the tires needed balanced. We were persuaded to sign the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and told that we could pick it up the next day. When we drove over two hours to pick up the vehicle the next day, we test drove the vehicle to confirm that the radiator and tire alignment had been completed properly. During the test drive, we noticed a whining noise in 4 wheel drive. We expressed our concerns to the used car manager, who told us they would check it out and deliver the vehicle to us the next day. Two days later, the driver arrived with the vehicle. The service manager said that they thought the sound was normal, but would pay to have it inspected by the Ford dealership in our town. The driver also mentioned that the tire light came on in the vehicle while driving it to us. He stated that he called the service manager and was told that whatever was wrong with the tire light would be fixed. After getting the vehicle inspected, we discovered that two of the tires did not have enough air in them, which was causing the all wheel drive whining sound. We were also informed that the tires were over five years old and dry rotted, making them unsafe to drive on. Our local shop also noted that the alignment was off, which we were told was already done. The oil pan is leaking, as well as the exhaust manifold. When we contacted the dealership to expressed concern regarding the unsafe tires, they told us that we were wrong and that “Tire safety is a matter of opinion.” Their demeanor was completely different than when we took possession of the vehicle. They had promised that whatever was wrong with the tires would be corrected, which was obviously an outright lie since they are now refusing to correct the issue. I feel that the employees at this dealership did everything they could to get us to buy a vehicle from them and as soon as we took possession, they treated us like we were an annoyance.

    Never again.

    Sadly a bad review with all the good. Never again will I purchase a GM product EVER or go to any Ed Martin in the future . I’ve had nothing but issues with my car since I got it brand new last year. I bring it in, say it’s fixed but it’s not. I’m basically forced to either drive what I have for another year with its current constant reoccurring mechanical issues even though it’s new and they keep trying to fix it or be strong armed into a vehicle I dont want. So lose lose for me. Learned my lesson and it won’t happen again. Feel like I’m being treated as oh well we’ve got you and we’ll keep taking your money even though we know there is an issue with your vehicle.
