    “Experience of lifetime” I started shopping around for a pre-owned Chevrolet 1500 on 9/28/2019. I visited a local Chevy Dealership locally, (Rome,NY) I spent 15 minutes searching for the perfect truck. Now mind you, I’ve been purchasing vehicles for close to 40 years. I was a little apprehensive and didn’t exit my car. Again, as usual I was approached by 3 different salesman. I didn’t exit my vehicle ¿¿. I left that facility anxiously! I traveled out to Yorkville, in route I contacted my nephew who works for the Subaru dealership in Yorkville. I explained what I was looking for and he in turn recommended me to visit Carbone Chevy. I was still a bit apprehensive and drove the lot for several minutes. I spotted the truck that I had been searching for . I parked and checked my mirrors for the dreaded salesman that seem to be lurking around. To my astonishment the coast was clear. I proceeded to check out the trophy that I had been searching for. Upon entering the facility intending to to get bombarded by salesman. I was greeted cordially, and was a little surprised . I was introduced to Allan Moss the young man who came highly recommend. I explained what I was looking for and was introduced to one of the salesman. I knew at that point that I was appreciated and respected. Yes, it felt a bit strange! Please bare with me! Within minutes Mike had the vehicle brought to the front door for my viewing. Impressive as had started to rain, again! I absolutely fell head over heals after viewing the truck. The test drive was great as Mike gave me all of the details about this Awesome Truck. At this point I was feeling ”overwhelmed “ with this new experience. It was definitely a surprise when I was told to take it home, drive it and show my wife Susan. No pressure, no hassle, no phone call?? I began to to wonder about the phenomenal treatment I had encountered. This as many people can attest, just doesn’t happen. Upon my return to the Dealership I was sold. So was the beautiful Chevy Silverado. It’s funny you never know where you might run into an old friend (Ray) Truly the Greatest car buying experience. Ever! Allan, Mike, Ray, Thank You for that !

    I had an 8am appointment May 23 ,2019 for an oil change on my car and to look at a switch that had chrome peeling. When I made the appointment I informed service department that I would be waiting while work was being done. Service department took 3 hours to change oil and tell me that a switch would be ordered! Nothing but excuses as to why it took so long. Heard nothing from Carbone regarding part order for 4 weeks. Stopped in to check on status of part. Part has been in for some time . I spoke to service manager. His reply was " In a perfect world parts would have notified you. That didn't happen. Sorry." Do you really want to deal with service department with an attitude like that ?

    Installation of right rear Taillight

    I purchased the right side Taillight from the dealer. I could not have $50.00 Core Cost when the dealer installed the taillight deducted directly from my bill. I feel like, I do not needed to go their parts recover Core Cost. The dealer should have been able to it transparently.
