    A coworker Carmax to me. I enjoyed that you could walk around the lot and actually get inside the vehicles to check them out. No one followed you around the entire time unless you wanted them to. If needed I'd buy and shop here again. The salesman Britt P. was pleasant to work with too. I wanted a better finance rate because my credit score told me I could get one. I was advised to check around. In the end I was able to get a lower rate from another source and get the vehicle I wanted. I'm scheduled for some detail work on the vehicle and I trust it will be done well too.

    Never buy from Carmax

    I will never and recommend that no one purchase a vehicle from Carmax. I purchased a vehicle with125000 miles extended service warranty. At the time of purchase I was told that the car was covered up to 66000 miles under the original warranty. The extend warranty would begin at 66000. At 118000 miles my cv joint n axle is damaged. I call and it is told my vehicle is covered by the warranty. So I take it in to Carmax to be told the next day that it is not covered. So I use my collision insurance to pay for the repair. Carmax quote a price of $946 for both sides. Only to be told later that I need another $946 for the right side. What the F- -k you must thing I am stupid. You quotes $946 for both sides. So what I say is do not true this company they are big liars.

    My sales rep Ryan G was very knowledgeable, relatable, very very helpful. Any question I had he literally had the answer. This is my 2nd car from car max I absolutely love them and I love how u can reserve a car from any of their stores! This works for me because I’m super picky lol

    Highly recommend! I have had nothing but excellent experiences here for all car service/repairs. The service is always amazing - very helpful, kind, and professional. Every time I go in for an issue they work to resolve it and I never, ever feel taken advantage of as I have sometimes wondered at other places in the past. I will definitely continue to go back.

    Don’t sell your car to them !!!

    They assured me I will get a fair market price for my trade in , their offer is $3000 bellow wholesale price , this is the second time I went there to get a vehicle appraised and received an low bowl offer , their advertising is a classic bait and switch like most of the used car dealers , waste of time , if you want to sell your car for next to nothing go to Carmax, they can help you with that, I emailed them to get a response and received no response , they can post their reply on this public forum and explain themself how they appraise a car and how their appraisal is not contradicting their advertising (you will receive a fair market value)

    Be careful what they promise you

    Be careful what they tell you. I was told on the phone by a "senior" consultant in their flagship store in Virginia that they had put in reserve a car I was interested so it could be transferred to my city. The sale man in my city checked and said all was good and took my credit card info for the transfer fee. Then I heard nothing. After a few days I called and was told that the car had been sold! I emailed that "senior consultant" and have not gotten a response, much less an apology. That was the first time I dealt with Carmax and probably the last. If you're going to do business with them, I suggest you put all communication in writing (email or text). I was lied to. Hope you'll have better luck.

    Tad was amazing ..so helpful. However there was confusion w title. I worked with Kathy who said she was leaving @ 2:45 ???? We returned I had to ask fpr help noone acknowledgwd me..I had to ask Betty for help and then she was rude. She said after I asked someone will be qith you we are busy. I dont appreciate being so inconvenienced and RHEN RUDE. I realize people make mistak3s but not RUDE

    Horrible. Find another dealership!!

    Location- Indianapolis, In ~Gray Rd. Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. Tried to finance us at 12.5%... when we were just quoted at 5% everywhere else. Only went here because they had the exact car we were looking for. Asked reason for high rate. Was told our credit score. WRONG! Our credit score is wayyy above good. Refinanced 12 hours later through our bank at LESS than 5%. Carmax makes their money on jacking up their interest rates and telling you it’s your fault the rate is so high. Do NOT believe them. Go to your bank. No matter what, any bank will finance a lot lower rates. It’s a hassle, but we saved over $13,000 by taking the time to do this! Horrible customer service. Horrible finance department. Manager was rude! Beyond rude. Not professional at all! Lied to us and only told the truth when we proved he was lying. Salesman was clueless. Took 45 minutes to leave lot to test drive because he kept forgetting one thing or another. I felt like I was witnessing a circus when we were standing around waiting. It was quite comical. Best part of my buying experience was watching all the employees scurrying around, like clueless circus animals. Was told the car was being detailed while we signed papers. Another bold lie. It was obvious that didn’t happen. Even the things we pointed out to be detailed beforehand didn’t happen. This place is a joke!!! Serious- please go buy your car somewhere else!!

    Best Car Buying Experience EVER

    Took my 21 year old daughter this morning to see a car she put on hold yesterday-a 2014 Cruze LT with less than 4000 miles on it. My daughter works 4 jobs, and has managed to save $10,000 for a down payment. This basically new car was on sale for around $12,600. I went with her to help her through the process. As a three time Cruze owner, I wanted to be sure of the quality of the car and that she was treated fairly. I couldn’t have been more impressed-from how ithe seat of the car test driving it, to the sprofessionalism of the transaction itself. Every step was explained to her and all options given as far as warranties, etc. From pulling into the parking lot, to taking a picture of my smiling girl hugging her champagne colored Cruze with a bright yellow bow on top-under 2 hours. The sales woman hugged both my daughter and myself. Never have I experienced kinder salespeople, nor a more professional environment. You will be seeing more of this Fort Wayne family!
