    We dodged a bullet
by Adrianna from Greenwood | August 18, 2019

I traded in my higher valued car for a cheaper car through Auto Nerds in Beech Grove. The salesman agreed they would pay off the remainder of my loan and I would get a car off of their lot in addition to walking away with some money left over in the form of a check. Within one day the check engine light came on. I replaced the part needed, no big deal. Four days after making the trade, I get a call from one of their financiers stating they made a mistake. The salesman I initially dealt with should not have agreed to the terms of the trade and they would not release the title to the car I took home until I either brought in or financed the remaining loan amount on my original car. I told him that was not what was originally agreed upon and I neither had that kind of money nor was willing to take out another loan to cover it. The financier stated that I either had to come up with the money or return the car I took home and the check they gave me and they would return my original car to me. I returned to the dealership and on the way there the check engine light came on again. I returned their car and the money and gave them the codes of the engine read. They stated they would have their service people look at it. When I got back to work it was already re-listed for sale. When I traded my original car it had a full take of gas, but when I pulled out of the lot the gas light came on and now my radio doesn't work.

    horrible dealership
by kojack 73 from Union City, Ohio | July 18, 2019

I went there to look at a car for my daughter, the cars I looked at we're beaten up pretty bad. Fog lights missing, one wiper not working, dents and scratches all over, tires don't match, branded or rebuilt titles. But on website the dealership list cars as great condition and great tires, brakes, great running cars. I would buy a car that's been through a hurricane than to buy one off the NERD.

    I regret my purchase...
by Brad from Indianapolis | June 21, 2019

Bought a Civic...one of the most storied car models for reliability....then, I bought it from Auto Nerd. One of the most storied bad dealerships in my area...somewhere in between, I'm an unhappy Civic owner who paid a high price for a vehicle that required 2 new axle shafts, a new clutch and throw out bearing, plus input shaft bearing and front brake pads/rotors...all in the first month of driving the car after purchase. Hopefully AutoNerd reads this and laughs...hopefully, a prospective customer reads it and doesn't laugh...and moves on to a better dealer.

    Car Stopped Running
by Mike from Indianapolis, IN | June 13, 2019

I purchased a used car from Auto Nerd and 1 day later it stopped running. I called the dealer and ask if it was anything they could do and they stated, they are not that type of car lot and said they would have it picked up and taken care of. It was towed back to their associated garage, only to find out the starter was out and I would be responsible for all charges. Including towing and diagnostics! Don't trust them!!

    Best buy
by Steve from Indianapilis | June 08, 2019

Have bought cars at RETAIL DEALERSHIPS most of my life....this buying experience compares to none!! Inventory was Enormous...our salesman Mike was friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful and NOT PUSHY....bought an ABOVE AVERAGE vehicle at well below AVERAGE price....I kept waiting for “THE CATCH”.....it never came. It sounds too good to be true...but it isn’t. You can actually buy a car like DEALERS do at Auto Nerd....RETAIL cars at WHOLESALE prices!! Will buy here from now on and recommend every chance I get to friends and co-workers....
