    Daughter searching for 1st vehicle purchase. AWESOME service by salesman Justin Spencer. He went above and beyond in pouring rain. Also huge thank you to Margo in finance for all her help and support in this decision. Will recommend Andy Mohr and will return in the future.

    Well.... I thought they were different.

    This is a follow-up to a review I wrote on Sept. 4, 2019 titled "They keep their word". As it turns out that is NOT true. The repair mentioned in the first review lasted just over a week. My daughter took the car back to them again. They were very apologetic about her troubles but after keeping the car for four more days and while I was out of the state dealing with a family medical emergency they suddenly call my daughter and tell her they have spent all the money they are willing to spend and she can come pick up the car. I want to be clear that they put in writing they would "fix ac" with absolutely no stipulation (written or verbal) regarding how much they were willing to put into the repair. I fail to see how it is customers fault that their service department is so incompetent they can't diagnose a problem with a system (Air Conditioning) that has been in common use in cars since 1969. When we negotiated the deal for this car I forgot to ask about a second key until the end. When they said they did not have one I did not try to renegotiate the deal we had already agreed to. When we got home I apologized to my daughter for overlooking that detail until the end and for the fact that she was going to have to spend more money for an expensive backup key. To me it seemed honorable to stick with the deal that had been made. I expect the same integrity from the other side. During this deal the sales manager looked me in the eye and assured me emphatically that Andy Mohr Toyota was not the kind of dealership that did not honer it's commitments and then when I was still skeptical put it in writing. Unfortunately, it turns out THEY ARE EXACTLY THE KIND OF DEALERSHIP that will look you in the eye and lie to you about what they are will do. My daughter is working on every possible avenue to redress this situation. In the end she is likely to have to eat the cost of the repairs. My caution to anyone considering a purchase from this dealership. Don't trust what they say and don't trust what they put in writing. REGARDLESS OF WHAT IS PROMISED you should assume that what you see (and maybe what you don't) is what you get. You can assume anything they promise is only in effect until THEY decide it is not. I'm glad McKinzie can smile so big on their commercials since I am sure from now on my daughter will feel like she has been punched in the gut every time she see's one. What a disgraceful thing to do to this poor girl who graduates from IU then continues to drive her rusted out squealing clunker for over a year to save up for a decent car. Anyone who chooses to support this type of behaviour by buying from this dealer well that's on you. Just understand that we communicate to business with our dollars and spending your money with a dealer like this effectively tells them you accept this behavior.

    Worst experience ever

    I was not at all impressed with the staff at Andy Mohr of Avon. I went to look at a car that was posted online and it was not what was expected so decided to look at other cars. After looking at 4 cars I finally decided on one and was ready to pay cash. I asked if my credit would be ran. They said no since it was a cash transaction. I even asked again to be sure since I am in the process of cleaning up my credit to buy a house. I was reassured that there was no reason to run my credit. Minutes after I filled out the title application form I recieved an email from credit karma that Andy Mohr had just ran my credit and it was a hard inquiry. When I asked about it they said it was a mistake but there was nothing they can do. They were very dismissive and condescending about it. I now have to deal with this hard inquiry that never should have been there in the first place.

    I was greeted shortly after I arrived . I was given a time frame , which was met. Received what I was there for, no upscale attempts were made. I was told one problem could not be duplicated which I understand sometimes this is case. Great job by all.

    Came into dealership just to look at what was available- we met Rick Sullivan and he took excellent care of us until we left the dealership late Saturday evening with our new Prius Brandon in finance was awesome and all the paperwork was completed in a very timely manner!     My mother bought a car from Max and I did not know him. After working with him to change her lease I will not go to anyone else. I only looked for cars he could help me with. No pressure, amazing and I will not go to anyone else. Ask for him when you go there.
