    Billy, the sales associate that helped me with this Car. I took the car for a test drive and he had my car appraised. We finally decided on an amount and made the deal. The new car was washed and filled with gas. It was a cold day, but Billy took car of putting my plates on the new car. The whole process took less than 3 hours!

    Another bad car dealer experience same old tactics

    My initial experience with Kim the internet sales person was excellent she provided me with quite a bit of information and was extremely pleasant and informative. She turned me over to LC who then became my salesperson. He did a great job of walking me through all the details of the car and was very personable. However, prior to going in and meeting with him I had sent him the details for an offer that I had on the exact same car and trim package from another dealership. He told me to come on in and he could help me. I was very specific and let them both know that the only reason I would come in is if I could get a similar deal with a car that was Ford certified, and I was assured that we could make that happen. Once we got to the numbers portion of the meeting the best that they said they could do was approximately $5,000 more then the other offer that I had. A colossal waste of my time. It's extremely frustrating when you were upfront and honest with someone and then are traded like this.

    Promise ,promise,promise. Did not stand by there word on anything. Trouble with purchase, said things would be fixed did not. Service agreement was paid for and not provided.

    I went to trade in my car, and I was told due to the engine light being on, they couldn't give me more then $8,000 for it. However, a few days later they list it for a higher then average price for that specific car. I was also told that the car I was looking at didn't have issues with the transmission like other Fords did. However, when I looked the car up I found the transmission was one of the most common problems. The only reason I decided to go with the car anyway was the six month warranty they said I'd have which would cover the transmission. I did not appreciate the fact that I was told I'd have a warranty on the car I traded for and ended up not getting any kind of warranty. I made it very clear I wanted that warranty, even though the way the salesperson spoke about it, it didn't seem like a choice. Got home and looked at my paper work to realize they didn't give me a warranty at all. Very disappointed that I was lied to about multiple things. I most definitely will never go there again, nor do I recommend anyone else to go. People I know personally have also had bad experiences with the dealership, but I didn't know that until after.

    Please read before buying

    Buyers beware. This place seems like the most friendly bunch of people on the car sales business until they meet a challenge. They only want something that is easy and are afraid to call and let you know if they can’t do anything. I was upside down a lot in a trade and said not a problem we will get something done. I had to leave and the salesman Dave D. said don’t worry I will call you in 30 minutes. After hours no call then I called the finance manager and he said that he was still working on it and would let me know the next day. So I called and text the salesman the next day and never returned my call or text. In the meantime I lost another car because of Andy Mohr’s lying and false hope. If they couldn’t do something the least they could of done is call and let me know. If you can only handle the positive and not the negative you don’t belong in this business. When I left this place I thought these are some good people. I even had a referral to give them but after realizing all they care about is the present and not taking care of a future/potential customer they don’t deserve my business or my families business in the future. You’ve been warned even if you go and it’s easy and friendly I’m sure the after sale experience will be lacking if something bad happens to the car you bought. They will probably just ignore you!

    STEALERSHIP ALERT! take your money elsewhere

    I went to the andy mohr plainfield dealership to buy a used 2006 grand marquis. The customer service was hardly average to say the best but that wasn't even the worst part. During the test drive I discovered that the transmission slipped in 4th gear. When we went into the office to try and come to a deal I mentioned this and they responded by dropping the price 100 dollars (off 3300 which is top dollar for that car) to "copensate" for the 1700 dollars it would cost me to get a remanufactured transmission. Here comes the best part though, after they declined my offer on the car they said that "someone with less knowledge on the subject wouldn't even notice the difference and they would drive it for a little bit, then when it fails they will just bring it back and pay us to fix it." I hope this goes to show why I would call this place a stealership and not a dealership.

    They took care of everything in a timely manner and were wonderful to deal with. We dropped off the car and came back the next day due to our schedule.
